The house where Jimi Hendrix died is just around the corner, between Notting Hill and Ladbroke Grove tube stations. (You'll often see Jimmy Page and Mick Jones on Pembridge Road to this day as well. Shopping etc.)
I didn't know that, Thanks!

As a Beatles fan....this is great information...👍🏻
Thank you so much! I'm glad you find it interesting!
A excellent video, yes I've often wondered what the apts. or flats were like.
What a scene in those times, all the people in and out.
Good job, thank you-
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the video!
Nice, I learned a lot of places where these great musicians used to live. Thanks for the info. Great job! Soon you'll be like them Agustin.
Thank you so much Ethel!
Here's a fun fact about Jimi Hendrix's Link To The Beatles. He made his bones as a backing guitar Player for Little Richard (RIP), and The Isley Brothers. The Beatles Covered Twist & Shout.
I didn't know that! The world was a much smaller place back then!
Thanks for this.
There are a couple of mistakes, and additional facts.
The house you showed as the house that Ringo and Maureen moved to (which was called 'Sunny Heights') was not that house. The photo you showed was of the house Ringo and Barbara Bach bought, long after The Beatles' split and after Ringo and Maureen's divorce (and sold a couple of years ago).
Also, you probably accidentally said that John Lennon's house was "in Kenwood", when it was actually in Esher, Surrey, and the house was called 'Kenwood'.
Interesting facts: Ronnie Wood of The Faces, and now of The Rolling Stones, moved in to the flat for a few weeks when Jimi Hendrix was living there.
Norman Pilcher, the policeman who arrested several rock starts for drug offences was later arrested and found guilty of corruption.
Hi! Thank you so much! You're absolutely right. Thanks for letting me know! And I'm glad Norman Pilcher got arrested :)
@@agustinkafka25 Thanks, Agustin. I, too, am glad that Norman Pilcher got arrested.
Great video (as always)! :)

@@agustinkafka25 Hi Agusto ¡
*HALLOWEEN BEATLE 31/10/21* 🎃
Dude so interesting thanks
Thank you!
It was actually Ringo's house. Lennon and Hendrix lived there for a time.
Yeah I know , it's explained in the video
@@agustinkafka25 Yes, just pointing out. Ringo actually had to kick Hendrix out, because he got stoned and did crazy things like throwing paint everywhere.
@@davegibbs6423 yeah, he wasn't the best tenant 🤣
I’m pretty sure Brian Epstein owned this house,
@@donnaone1nine I think the owner was someone else. Ringo leased it from 65-69. everyone else sub-let.
Nice one
Thank you so much!

Good stuff 😎👍🌟
Thank you so much!
Thx!!!
Thank you so much!
John Lennons music made this very special
Cool!😊🇺🇸🙏👍
Thanks!!
i think rolling stone magazine did a really famous interview with Lennon there. Not the two-part really bitchy one where he lied about a lot of things, rather the first one where he was sitting on the floor with all his old single 45's around him and he was paying them on a cheap record player. that was really a much better interview cause he had no agenda about getting even with Paul McCartney. The picture(s) taken at that time look like the place you're talking about. Nice thing you're doing for ancient Beatle fans like myself to see some of the places in the modern era and what they looked like. thanks, young blood.
Thank you so much! Yes, that interview was there and the picture you're talking about is the one I used for the cover of this video! I love that interview
Marylebone train station was where they filmed the opening scenes in a Hard Days Night.
Yes! I'll make a video there too :)
I was arrested there many years ago for carrying a (very, very small), amount of cannabis.
That's my claim to fame! 🤣🤣
@@thesocialmediascientistmbe Oh that sucks, this days I don't think you would get arrested for that
@@agustinkafka25
It was a young rookie who wanted his first arrest probably.
Not even worth the paperwork really.
We all know what they do with the "Confiscated" drugs anyway..........
Bloody hypocrites.
@@thesocialmediascientistmbe are they even allowed to search you if you're not doing anything wrong?
Great job! Fascinating! Did Ringo Starr actually own this house and rent it to his friends, or was he just subletting it to them? Also, Tony Bramwell's great book tells how John got word prior to the raid so sent Bramwell to clean the apartment, but Yoko came in and kicked Bramwell out before he was finished! (She may have kept this from John!) So John and Yoko were definitely using heavy drugs there, whether that officer planted more or not.
Thank you so much! He was subletting it to them. I didn't know that! It makes sense
Come on guys, let's try to raise the money so he can purchase this beautiful house 👍
Thank you so much! Then I’ll throw a party for all of you at montagu square!
Kisses from Brazil 🇧🇷❤️
Thanks!! 😊😊
Agustin interesting to have subtitles in other languages. Not everyone speaks English
Hi! I would like to add Spanish subtitles at some point. I don't speak any other language
❤
You know your stuff!
Thank you so much!
👏👏👏👏👏❤
❤️❤️😊😊
I came for The Beatles... I stayed for the sweater.
Thanks! 🤣
Wow, that place must have so many ghosts! Mostly good ones ... Chas Chandler, Jimmy Hendrix, Cynthia's mom, Cynthia Lennon, John Lennon ... and that last one is probably still trying to get back in from the balcony ...
True, really good ghosts 🤣
@@agustinkafka25 As you say, I'd love to live there!
@@agustinkafka25 It was a bit funny because every time I was reading someone's book and a transition or any trouble hit them, or someone they were talking about, it seemed it was off to Ringo's house they went! So I was kind of wondering how many of the Beatle circle lived there for goodness sake. Thanks for tying it all together!! And finding out that even HE rented it! I guess when Ringo and Maureen had a baby they had to move somewhere larger, but you can hear the reluctance in Maureen's voice. I guess she kind of preferred that neighborhood, so they ended up keeping it in case they wanted to stay there from time to time, still have a base in London. Maureen Starkey stayed good friends with Cynthia Lennon until the end.
@@charwest9449 yes! She was actually the one who let her know in the middle of the night when John got killed. And Ringo leased the flat for a few years! I think some people rented the apartment from Ringo but he was just lending it to some of his friends too
@@agustinkafka25 Yeah, Ringo's a good friend. Actually, all his friends should do a song ... We got by with a little help from Ringo, lol!!
You could never call it John Lennon's house!! It was his rented bolt hole for a few months between moving out of his Weybridge house and into Tittenhurst Park. It was owned by Ringo and rented out to many.
Please do a video on Paul
I have a video visiting Paul's house! The link in here in the description

I almost took a flat in Montegue square in the 90s. I dont remember the number-but i didnt remember seeing the plaque outside so it probably wasnt 34-but then again i dont know when the plaque went up!
Oh the plaque went up in 2010! that's a really nice place to live!!
@@agustinkafka25 I know!! I couldnt believe the rent was (just about) affordable!! I was very excited about living there but one thing or another lead to me living somewhere else. Around that time I also lived in St Johns wood just close to Abbey road and at one point next door to Liam Gallagher in 1996!! (hes a nice bloke by the way) but yeah-these days im not near to anything famous as far as i know lol
@@ketchup5344 I would love to live in one of those flats one day!! That's so cool, to live next door to Liam Gallagher! Did you see him often?
@@agustinkafka25 I bumped into him a few times, had a great little chat. He was certainly a total gentleman and not rude in any way lol. Weirdly, even after he and I moved, I kept bumping into him over the years-last time was in knightsbridge.
@@ketchup5344 That's great, I was under the impression that he was a bit rude, because of the interviews I watched, but I'm glad to know he's a nice guy!
Technically it was still Ringo's flat when John moved in. I highly recommend Cynthia Lennon's book "John", as you mentioned. While. I still remain a fan of Lennon's music, the true character of the man is quite disappointing unfortunately.
Yeah :(
*And don't forget to mention that it may be haunted by ghosts.*
Probably haha

The very brief home of John Lennon/Yoko Ono, where lease-holder Ringo Starr had to give up the lease due to the former's infamous drug-bust.
Crazy he’d be alive if he got deported
True!
What's to stop Chapman from flying to England?
@@pistolp01 his apartment in nyc was easy access he was a easy target unfortunately
Yea, I was thinking the same thing.
Another thought I had is when his wife took a vacation to Greece without him.
How history would have been different had she not done that and stayed by his side.
@@jeffreyimagine7962 No, you're right Jeffrey. It's nice to imagine a different outcome and a world where All of the Beatle's were still here; whether they got back together or not. The potential individual music would've been a treat. Look at what happened to George; it's a sad world where decent people can't be safe. It certainly hasn't gotten any better. Take care.
I thought was. Meant to about John Lennon not Jimi Hendricks!
I'm sorry, It's about Ringo John and Hendrix cause the 3 of them lived there. It's mostly about John tho
Pretty gruesome death for the city worker impaled by that iron fence and then to have to cut through while the body hangs there...chills are brought to that spot.
It belonged to Ringo who let John & Yoko live there and they got arrested there...
May this property can be yours too, if you work hard.
Did the man survive the fence?
No, He died :(
What to YOU think?
8:40 did she say "idiot"?
"Imagine no possessions."
-- John Lennon, multi-millionaire
''Idiot!'' Don't you just love people like that.
What a rude lady! 🤣
Swear the person running past saying ‘idiot’ is patsy kensit? Probably thinking u are filming her?
She definitely thought I was filming her and she was also very rude, but do you think it was her? 🤣
@@agustinkafka25 it definitely sounds like her and looks like her. Probs thinks you were filming her cos u had spotted her but yes she’s very rude.
@@davehammond76 That makes sense! Wou, thanks for letting me know :)

Thanks!
When Jimmi was there the round window decorations were lovely. Why do ppl change /have no respect for history. Why change it ? Just cos u want to spend $ ??
That's a good point!
@@agustinkafka25 Thanks :) I live in Australia where they tear down old buildings and replace it with a steel and glass monstrosity. Wish they'd leave something of the past.
@@spaceengineer1452 Oh that's a shame! Yes, It's important to keep those buildings!!
Lennon's biggest mistake was moving to US.
Angle grinders are go,
i think the drugs were planted to warn him off yoko..tho he did become a heroin addict shortly after that.
That makes sense
My co worker lived two estates down from here...from what he was describing, lmao I expected a nicer house. What a let down lmfao This isn't beautiful lmao
the excuse would be that no Beatles songs where written there. They didn't even buy John's childhood home because of that. Yoko bought it and donated it to the national trust.
Presenter needs to plan the narration a bit. Started going on about rooms all being painted black etc then suddenly says but they were just rumours. A bit all over the place. I think it would work better if captions were just shown instead below the images of interest.
Thank you so much for your comment, however, I think It'd be very boring without any narration. Of course I'll keep practising to make better videos :)
Anyone can go to google street view, this is useless
Go to Google then
@@agustinkafka25 Visiting a place would include going inside
You people should just leave the Beatles alone already! Obsession is never a good thing!
And yet here you are
You are DELUDED ROFL to think John didn't do drugs? hahahaha priceless
I’m not saying he didn’t lol. But it seems in that particular occasion the drugs have been planted by the police officer.
