I can't say I'm surprised. Matpat and Tom Scott were some of the biggest influences on CZcams. If big people like them leave, it gets people thinking if they should leave, too. Both parties made very valid points as well, which only further fuels that line of thinking; puts things into perspective.

You talking about not being able to relax, and spending more time than necessary on edits, is something I thought I'd never hear someone else dealt with. Back when my channel was more active, I always had this problem, and only very recently did I finally learn how to relax and not feel horrible when I wasn't uploading or making music or doing SOMETHING. I understand it's harder for you because it's your job, and you can't just take big breaks, and I wish I could give you some magic sauce to just figure it all out. All I'll say is you're one of my favorite CZcamsrs, I've been a fan for so long that it does not matter how you edit your videos or whatnot, I'll simply watch it because its your video. You're doing great bro, I wish you the best, and you GOT this bro ❤

I just barely put in my two weeks at my job because it was taking up so much of my life. even though I loved it, it was eating away at my sanity and I have other things I wanna experience. I know I’m just a viewer and you can live your life however you want, but maybe try to explore all your options and find other things you can get enjoyment from that doesn’t stress you out so much. we’ll support you either way, Ryan
I totally agree with you. I have priorities in my life that I always let consume me. What have I learned from it? Happiness is the most important. We watch this channel because we love the youtuber who plays our favorite games. If the editing is making the mental drain this unbearable, I think I speak for everyone when I say that we'd love to see you be happy. Truth be told, we don't need excessive edits. Like you're At Dead of Night series. I watched your videos to see you scream and smile at the bits that I did, not for the edits. In all seriousness, I hope you find a way that works for you. yes, i love the long format videos and vlogs so much, glad to see ur sticking here and ur still so passionate about what you do, thank you so much for always putting in so much work for videos and just everything that you do. I would say try to find some sort of balance with the work you do and keeping the happiness levels up maybe find a hobby outside of this, continue working on trying to make a game if that's what you want, but note your health is always top priority so i hope you feel alright soon! take care!

The anxious feeling when not working and the chest tightening and restricting feeling is so relatable. Im a college student on my final year and I get that feeling here and there. I do think its just anxiety and hopefully its nothing serious for you as well. We appreciate all the hard work you put in your videos and don't mind if you take breaks at all. Hopefully youll be at a point soon where you feel the same about taking breaks and it not affecting your channel.
