    The TV host introduced Mr. Kanayo O. Kanayo in a manner that was disrespectful to his personality. She characterized him based on the script roles he played in certain movies, which was unnecessary. Mr. Kanayo O. Kanayo deserves more reputable accolades than what was outlined. He is one of the pioneers of the Nollywood film industry, and his efforts and hard work over the years, along with his colleagues, have contributed significantly to the growth of Nollywood. In fact, Nollywood would not be where it is today without their contributions. QED

    KOK is the only who came ready for the interview... RMD seems detached from the reality of most of Nollywood,he was giving very vague and general answers that do very little in sorting the critical issues affecting the industry. Why was Ireti even here? She gets easily agitated by opinions that contradict hers,yet she's overall really clueless about everything... Out of the 3,KOK is the only one who still actively works in Lagos,Abuja,Asaba and Enugu and bold enough to point out critical areas that need work and solutions that might be beneficial to Nollywood. The interview would've been better and would've addressed more issues if we had KOK on the panel with "pro-Nollywood" practicioners like Hilda Dokubo,Segun Arinze or Fred Amata. .. RMD and Ireti can keep living in their own bubble.

    The programme host was too abrupt in her questioning and kept interrupting. Finishing sentences she shouldn't and even had to be cautioned by Ireti. She is forming overconfidence which doesn't go down well in this interview and comes across as unprofessional. I hope Arise is taking note of the feedback in the comments section. But overall, good points were raised by these veteran actors, and I hope proper solutions can be found for the problems within Nollywood on all the issues raised.

    The host did an amazing job, in my opinion. She riled them up by asking them questions that would force them to speak their minds, and not just make political statements. Well done mama. Besides, it's not easy at all for any one person to sit in front of legends such as these guests, and still maintain a high level of audacity to cut them short, ask tough rattling questions, and remain composed in cases of a clap-back from the guests. She did well.
    And no one is talking about how intelligently Ireti Doyle reasons. She goes to a realm of objectivity against emotion which is rarely seen in the opinions made by most Nigerians and humans in general. I really loved the programme. Well done Arise TV ❤

      @@victoriaizehi9183 if that is what you gathered from Ireti, that means you lack comprehension. She kept attacking and disrespecting KOK on all the valid points he was making. She doesn't care that 5 people died on a shoot and that the guild needs to put some structure in place to ensure this doesn't happen again. All she cared abouy was "is there a law". What a dolt. She doesn't care that actors are forced to work outside of their contracted hours. As a matter of fact that old hag said she'd provide water and food. What rubbish?! You don't own people because they work for you. You must abide by your contract that's why it was signed in the first place. This lady kept asking if this was in the law, like she never heard of policies, and procedures. And yes, it's against the law to overwork people. She just wants to keep exploiting people. Provided she's fine, evey other person can go to héll. I expected more from her. That's to say that someone speaks well doesn't mean they have sense, she was busy articulating rubbish. I Think They're All Coming From Their Particular Angle, But Ireti Was Not So Expressly Expressive She Relied On Her Beauty & Panache & A Little Bit Of Pride, Then KoK Is More An Insider and Is More Informed About The Nitty Gritty & Workings, RMD Was Aloof and He Didn't Offer Much But He's a Gentleman.. Ireti seems to disagree with everything KOK says. She feels cocky and superior to the others. RMD seems to be like a very contented man let KOK do the talk. I respect KOK views on everything but the other two seem to be very cautious. One thing in life you don't talk nobody can help you. This is the opportunity for them to let the world know what is happening in Nollywood. This approach by Ireti and RMD will not bring about the desired change the industry needs. These three people are not speaking with one voice which is important for the industry

As you are now,you want a house for yourself,you go,work hard and get it! Just say they are not interested in whatever that is happening there,if they are, they will be there. Kanayo goes to the meetings,does his contributions and comes out for any of their activities,that is him putting in his own quota for the growth of that organization,you staying in your house and waiting for people to do the work first,is you not being serious. Lastly,there was a reason RMD junior colleagues came to him to beg the producer to strike (it shows the level of respect and confidence they have in) then imagine RMD at those meetings,there will be values and orders.

    Good talk i learn a lot from this. As a junior producer, actress and dream of becoming big one day by GOD Almighty grace.
    My opinion are;
    1.Meeting can be done on Zoo.As most celebrities feel big, lazy, busy, unsecured sometimes.
    2. President of Autors guid should put out a law a compulsory yearly donation by all producers before having go ahead to produce any movie. Like 500k / yearly . That can help in case of accidents or support in the case of an illness to actors, actress or members of Nollywood.
    3. Health and safety measures put in place before shooting movies in Riverside areas, jungles or night locations.
    May GOD continue to protect his people producers, actors, actress, camera men others who are into entertainment.

For instance, on the issue of some actors not participating in the existing insurance system in the industry. It is time for the industry players and stakeholders to take holistic approaches to remedy the industry that has done well for many persons and the country.
