Chance upon your video. Planning a trip to Tibet in spring next year. This video has shown me the famous walking street in Lhasa. You are blessed to have visited Tibet. Such a beautiful, exotic and unique place.

Somehow a westerner have the urge to tell Asian what to do but the Chinese know what they are doing? As long as westerners do not incite hatred and misinformation this is considered progress to the Chinese.

8:22 They are mostly Chinese taking pictures in Tibetan traditional clothes and blocking the ways of Tibetans who are there to do their prayers, or they will go in the opposite direction. 😤🙄

Taking professional photos in the old quarters of Lhasa is a big business for locals, and it's one of the main attractions for those who want to experience that, regardless of which ethnic group they're part of. I don't think tourists were blocking the way or going in the opposite direction intentionally or maliciously. I knew I had to walk clockwise because I made the mistake at a Buddhist temple in Beijing and a nice lady praying there corrected me. A bit of tolerance goes a long way, I've found.

@@longinchina That's what most Westerners and Han Chinese think. As a Tibetan, I don’t see it like that.
