You didn't include the best tip I was given. When actually taking the test, the skip button is your best friend! If you do not 100% know the answer, SKIP IT. The test will end when you either answer enough correct to pass or enough incorrect to fail. If you make it all the way through without passing, THEN begin the educated guesses.

The hazmat part is really screwy. It should be subdivided to the type of thing you will be hauling.
As a for instance, when I took the test for hazmat, I had only 1 question that applied to what I was hauling, and that was the Rail Road crossing procedure. Everything else had nothing to do with petroleum.

I was thinking the same thing but how they know what kind of hazmat job will you get. We should go through intense training for what we gonna do once we apply for certain job.

No not a super truker just a guy that's driving for 41 years and a owner operator for 34 years. It's not how long you been driving but what you have learned. That's how you teach. Good luck. I mean that in a good way.

I appreciate it, I don't consider ten years a very long time either, I usually get people in my comments that aren't the most genuine so sometimes I respond thinking that way. I do my best to only talk about subjects I know about and if it's an opinionated video I certainly let everyone know. The reason I say it every video is for viewership retention. Ten years isn't a ton but it is a decent amount so trying to convey why people should watch my videos at all within the first thirty seconds. Serious question, if I said instead I've traveled well over a million miles would that "sound" better? Legitimate question, we know as drivers a million miles i a nice feat but still not the greatest, I'm specifically talking about the way it "sounds" to a person that doesn't know much. Thanks

I'm 36 years old and want to get into Trucking. Is this a good move right now in today's economic environment?

You forgot to take the hazmat test now you first need to do a eldt test and from my experience it pretty much gives you the answers

Never said I knew everything but at the same time it’s considerably more than the majority of my viewership. It’s probably not as much as you have as a super trucker but it’s more than enough to teach. Thanks for watching…again

The rules change every 5 years so whats that even matter.....everything in trucking is a pretty simple concept if you have the slightest bit of common sense
