You mention you need a CDL or CLP? Are you sure I can take the Hazmat written test with a Commercial Permit or does it depend on the state? I thought you were restricted until after you got your CDL? Please confirm.

Yes you can take the Hazmat Written test with just a CLP. Make sure to get your ELDT done first however: www.midwesttruckdrivingschool.com/hazmat-eldt-online-course/
