This video was extremely helpful as a beginner! Thank you Lisa!
Such thorough videos!!! :) thx so much!
Thank you for these videos and links
Hi Lisa…your videos have been super helpful since I have started with my jewellery making business. I’m using loctite gel based super glue as well as suggested in this video and I’m also giving it 24 hours of cure (not touching them) to be on safer side but lately I have seen some of the components still coming off. I’m not yet into resin, wondering what could be the reason.
Thank you so so much for taking the time to help out the clay community! Especially those of us who are just starting out. 🖤
i just started trying my hand out at using polymer clay and your CZcams channel is my go to for every single question I’ve had so far! So helpful and you’re so adorable too!

Adanna Ryce yay! Glad this was helpful. Thanks for being so patient!
I use the gorilla super gel glue! It's so strong! Also it helps if you use a backing with a larger surface area for a strong seal. I use 8mm and 6mm backs depending on the size of the stud :) thanks for the video
I just bought this and was worried I chose the wrong one! Thanks !!
I am soooo happy to see you’re back! I’ve been watching all your videos!

Really love your designs.

Awesome video thanks x
You have helped me tons!!!!! Thank you 😊 so very much
Very happy to see you back.....
Waiting for your video in last few months.......
😀👍
Thank you u love this video, you are the best
Another thing to consider that you might not know about epoxy resin, is that some brands recommend you don't mix less than 2 oz because it will not cure properly so another reason why it's not the best for jewelry making. The only reason I know this is because I do resin art and make clay jewelry
This is so helpful, thank you! I’m so glad I saw it before I began selling, my biggest fear is having a post snap off lol. Can I ask, what camera do you use to film?
Thank you for sharing ! I love your videos they are extremely helpful. What backings do you use for your earrings ?
Thank you! The information you share with the PC community is super valuable. Can you recommend the best companies to purchase earring posts/backings from?
Great video! I use the loctite ultragel and I rough up the clay piece instead of the post. So far so good!
Twinsies!
Thank you. Are you going to UV coat the entire earring or just leave the back? Great informational video.
I’ve missed your videos!!!!!!
So glad you’re back! ❤️ jesclay_ here and I love youre work so much!
Welcome back and enjoyed the tips. So far I've only used the liquid polymer clay with a thin layer of regular clay, but my blending technique is not that great at the moment.
Thank you!
Thank you for the video 💖💖 could you make a video on how to attach backings to uneven clay surfaces such as knots or rainbows?
Hi, I’m thinking of sticking tiny crystals on my pieces, what glue should I use for that? Thanks for your videos ❤️
Thank you so much! Your videos have helped me tremendously! Could you post a video on the best polymer clay pasta machine to get that isn’t super overpriced? Please??
This video was so helpful. I personally like using glue to attach the earring post then I cover it with some polymer clay and bake it to give it a clean look.
Love that technique! Once you learn the different techniques you can really make it your own and mix styles which is so cool.
@@theslowhaus Definitely! That is one of the many things I love about polymer clay :)
Baked clay if you attached raw clay then can you tell me how much time we need to bake...
I absolutely love this! You are so helpful!! Do you mind sharing the link to where you purchase your small earring studs?
I’ve just got uv resin to try for the first time. Before I was using glue letting it dry for 24hours then I’d add a layer of liquid clay. Hopefully uv resin will speed up the process, thanks
Can you recommend which earring backings/rods are best? There are so many to choose from! I worry about skin sensitivity and over all quality.
I haven't even watch your video yet but I know I'm going to love it.
Awww Thank you so much!!! That's love
❤️Hello again!!...
Thanks for posting this. I was actually wondering about this subject the other day. So this video help Soo much.
Also, can I give you an advice?.
*For future videos let people know with a disclaimer about the dangers of using Resin.
A lot of people are beginners and don't know about it until they get a bad reaction from fumes like me. Those fumes are lethal, please use proper ppe, mask, gloves and I beg you don't use it in your house.
Resin was a passion of mine until it nearly killed me.
🙏🏾💞Many blessings sent your way.
I would love a tutorial on how to attach a ball stud post 😁
Omg! I've been researching this ALL DAY today! Thank GOD you just posted this video. You've answered all of my questions. Love your channel girl!! Thank you!
Side note: Have you used that new epoxy gorilla glue? I heard it's AMAZING for attaching posts to clay. It's like a mixture of option 1 and 2.
Carise Harper Yay! Glad I could be helpful!!! I haven’t tried that glue, but I will certainly try it out. Sounds amazing!
#clayqueen! Have completely inspired me. Obsessed!
Tiana Porreca haha love it!! Thank youuu!!! 🤍🤍🤍
I have used Sculpey bake and bond to adhere them and I'm having some pieces where they are coming apart after I have baked them. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for your advice.
hi beautiful, happy that your back! your videos have taught me so much, ive missed you. i was wondering if you’ve made a video about this or answered it anywhere else but how do you properly put on a french hook? i’m having trouble with the earring looking almost as if it was backwards. also, i know you said in a previous videos you like to get your findings from other small businesses on etsy, would you mind sharing which ones your recommend? ✨
did you find any small businesses on etsy?
Ok this is amazing 👏🏼 Thank you so much for being willing to share all of your knowledge about this! You’ve helped me so much with learning more about creating polymer clay earrings!
One thing I’m struggling with is finding earring posts that are hypoallergenic. Specifically ball earring posts and French hooks that are the right shape! If you have an recommendations that would be so helpful!!!!!
Thanks for such a thoroughly informative video. This will greatly help on my next project. On a side note....what kind of plant is behind you ? It's incredible ❣
Do you have a video that talks about care tips for clay jewelry? Such as keep dry etc.
If I’m using Sculpey oven bake clay glue to paste the stud, should I paste it before sanding and shaping or after?
Thanks for your advice!! Can you tell us what size jump rings or range of sizes make the most sense? 5cm is too small but 10 seems way too big!
I think a past video, 6mm and 8mm was mentioned. But it’s up to you and your style the most. 😊
I either use super glue or mod podge. Depends on what type of earring
just wondering how does scratching the back of the earring posts help to adhere better? i’ve seen a few posts mention that but thought it was referring to scratching the back of the polymer clay!
In the last technique do you use liquid polymer clay or bake and bond?
from epodex site " The durability of a surface coated with UV resin varies between a few weeks and half a year. Since it only allows casting depths of up to 1mm, UV Resin is not a casting resin. A thicker casting would form bubbles and voids. Even after curing, UV resin is very sensitive to heat & can flake off or blister in the sun. Due to its properties, it is well suited for jewellery {sic} or ornamental elements. You can also use it as glue." so I am still in search of the best sealant for polymer pieces.
Can you please share where you get your earring backs ? Having a hard time finding some
Hello, tips to make the clay harder because mine gets rubbery everytime. Or is that normal? Thank you! 😊
Thank you, thank you! This video is so great! I am just starting out and i am so thankful to find this channel ☺️
I've heard some UV resins can yellow over time?! Does yours you link here do that at all?! Thanks!
Do the uv gels discolour over time? X
Do you use. sealer on your earrings? Thanks
15:28 Can put the earring post in polymer clay before you initially bake it? So you don’t have to add the extra clay, resin or glue.
For the liquid clay technique do u have to make sure your peice is baked already or not ?
Do you mind sharing where you purchase your jewelry findings from? Thanks in advance 😊
hello when you apply liquid polimer clay , are the earings raw or baked? thanks
Random video idea I see your location is Portland you should do a video of your life in Portland. I want to move out there but I’m still thinking about it. Weather/ rent/ vibes / culture ect ect I live in LA but somehow Portland just really grabs my attention .
