Hysterical that your headline says Shipshewana but you focused on every place BUT Shipshewana. I live 15 miles from Shipshewana and visit there a couple times a month. The evolution of then village since the flea market started is a testament to marketing.
I think Amish and Mennonite culture and lifestyle is so fascinating! Love supporting their shops. We have a few communities in Missouri. Been to one so far.
I love seeing the buggies up close!
Ahhh, I usually think of PA & OH for Amish culture.
Me too!! Being from Ohio and spending my college years in Ohio's Amish country, it was so much fun getting out and touring the 3rd largest Amish population in Shipshewana Indiana and interacting with them.
Two other Amish communities in northern Indiana are near the towns of Grabill in Allen County and Berne in Adams County.
@@leestamm3187a lot of my paternal grandmothers family still live in Berne.😊
There used to be a very good restaurant that was almost always busy but that place closed a few year's ago
