After some dry days riding to Gensan, I made a trip north to the farm, and encountered two sections of flooded road!
I feel for those living in these low-lying areas, who have had to leave their homes for now...

I have seen those floodings traveling by bus from Davao to Butuan. Me was told that they are used to the floods. But seeing your vlogs kind of tells me this extreme is rare.

You are quiet innovative when it comes to raincoat just like any local in the province. I used to do that when I still had my coffee farm in Bayugan.
Meanwhile in Northern Luzon it's el niño. Mindanao should be thankful for rains.

KD, you have to sincerely believe that everything happens for a reason. Go with the flow and do not fight it. It may be hard in the beginning but keep on pushing on and you will finally overcome that mental concern that you have.
That is what I am trying to tell myself daily 🙂
@@KumanderDaot I actually wrote a lengthy reply but I was surprised to see that it was not posted. There is this particular youtube channel that CZcams somehow doesn't want to be named but I wrote that in my post. So my whole post was deleted.
Anyway, I have to write again. It's nice to know that you are trying hard to achieve your goal. There is this Filipino phrase called "bahala na" which I assume you already know. The English equivalent is "we leave it all to God". Don't worry about anything. Do your part and then leave it all to God. Accept whatever the outcome is. If things didn't go as you expected, then charge it to experience. Take it as a life learning. We never stop learning. So keep on learning.
Try to avoid dramas. So it means that you have to avoid people who like dramas; people who always have problems. Don't give too much attention to dramas as it is going to drain your positive energy. The more that you are not focusing on problems, the more that your life will be better. You are not suited to be a counselor at this time. So don't listen to the problems of other people.

Philippines is a beautiful country but the natural disaster is unavoidable. During rainy season could be detrimental to the residents. Flooding is most likely to happen. You have to get used to it until the water receded. Go to higher grounds if necessary for utmost security.
Natural disasters are unavoidable everywhere in the world. The UK has floods and storms right now too.
Europe has their annual forest fires. So is in the US and Australia. I think forest fires are more destructive than the flooding. In flooding, the houses are still there. A lot of countries around the world are experiencing natural disasters every year. So don't think that the Philippines is the only country that is suffering from natural disasters.
