NOT THE OLDEST, the oldest operational lighthouse is Torre de Hercules in Spain, almost 2000 years old (Unesco World Heritage)

Hook Lighthouse is the oldest INTACT lighthouse in the world, Torre de Hercules in Spain is older but there is very little of the original structure surving today. Hook lighthouse on the other hand stands as it did 800 years ago, only the lantern room is a modern addition.
