You guys should look up drift fishing set up on here and also use snap swivels with pensil lead …. I use 30 pound braided line with a 15 pound 5ft leader also never give up on trying to land youre fish give it time and be patient… good luck 🤞
Also if theres a way i can message you guys i could send you guys links to many videos that will help you guys also look up “addicted fishing” on you tube they have a ton of educational videos regarding fishing setups ..
Thank you so much for the tips! We’re looking to head out to grab the gear you mentioned today or early tomorrow morning. Definitely not giving up!
Oh yeah you can definitely message us, if you have Instagram search for The Nev Fam 😊 we take all the advice we can get! We will also check out the videos you recommended. We’re gonna get that Fish!
Hey friend did you guys have fun fishing
Loved the video! In lakewood and hubby works on base. We been looking for a fishing spot that I don't have to do a lot walking to get to (bad back). Where is this?
Im not aware of anywhere on base to go fishing for salmon, but this one is part of Jblm but you can only get there by car (unless you don’t mind walking for several hours lol). It’s right off of Pacific Highway in Nisqually and is part of JBLM/need a pass for it. We also go to a public spot behind schilter family farm underneath the train bridge
@@TheNevFam We will check it out. My hubby is stationed here but we just live off base in lakewood. Been here about a month. Looking forward to exploring the area. Thank you for replying.
Check the Puyallup and the green rivers
Or if u have e saltwater gear any state pier is year round for salmon steelhead and flounder
