    I asked Fuji Canada to borrow the X-S10 for a few weeks and now I want two of them. In this video we test video, photos, autofocus, and IBIS. Then we hit the streets of Toronto for an afternoon street session... and a ham sandwich. This is the most ergonomic camera Fuji has ever made and I just can't get enough of it.

I thought I would miss all these retro controls but actually don’t. May be it’s not so beautiful but I appreciate comfort and effectiveness more. And I am really considering to start shooting jpeg. It will be easier with this camera, I think. Thank you for this video, it is wonderful.

    It is good to hear that your 23 mm F/2 lens has good auto focus. How new of lens is it? I have been watching Denae & Andrew ( think that is right) channel and many of his reviews of that lens has mentioned the lack of sharpness when close-up. A retailer has said that some of Fuji Film's lens have improved over time.
    This was a good video. I have not done video yet, but purchase the X-S10 for many reasons you have mentioned.

I am slowly moving back to Fuji as I got a X100V earlier this year but wanted something with IBIS . I've noticed that still images from your camera are slightly but beautifully underexposed. Maybe it just me... but I feel that behind that slightly darker ambiance there is something more subtle than just turning down exposure compensation dial. If I may... Don’t worry about the weather sealing. Fuji cameras are built like tanks. I’ve been in rain, snow, sand, and heat with my X100t and it’s working perfect. It’s not weather sealed.

    Sweet Delica!
    I've always struggled with avoiding interactions with others while shooting on the street. An action-cam mounted on a mouth guard would definitely be one way to go about it.
    I get what you're saying about Fuji's style vs. ergonomics. I've been using Fuji cameras since 2013 and would still give it to my Canon 5D2 in terms of actually manipulating the camera's controls while shooting. With the Fujis, for too many functions you have to take the camera away from my your eye to make changes.

    I found this review SO HELPFUL, liked and subscribed. I am having trouble deciding whether to get the XS10 (with 23mm f2) or X100V for my CZcams + Photography setup. The CZcams side of things isn't super intense (e.g. just talking head and some B-roll) which is why I'm considering the X100V too. I know that you love the XS10 as seen in your "Final Thoughts" but for my situation would you recommend one over the other?
    May I also ask how you find the minimum focusing distance of the 23mm f2? I tend to do lots of close up shots of small sized products so having a close minimum focus like the fixed lens on the X100V would be ideal.

    • @impatrickt
      @impatrickt  Před 3 lety +2

      I'd take the X-S10 over any camera in Fuji's lineup right now. for real. X100's are fun but they are a novelty camera. an expensive one at that.
      if you want to have that experience just throw a prime on the X-S10 and you're golden.
