Proper sea on there mate,, I knocked it on the head for the season last weekend I actually didn't travel the sea was that big ,, actually knocking a couple of 1 ton plus stones clean of the top of a well-known harbour wall 🌊😂,, cheers for all the videos man 👍 and I'll keep a look out for the summer videos,, cheers all the best

How on earth did you expect to catch when Gaz wasn’t there Dave😁 I’ve noticed that when Gaz casts, he doesn’t seem to put in as much effort as you, so is he not casting as far as you? This could be why sometimes ( most times ),🫣 he puts your bait up😉Its funny you say that was your last cast of the cod season.We had a caravan at Sand Bay and we would fish nearly every weekend ( at night) through the summer. As Sandy Bay beach was only 10 yards from our caravan, that’s where we fished most, but occasionally we would travel to other areas such as Lynnemouth, Cresswell, Cresswell Carrs, and Cambois pier. In fact my PB cod was caught from Cambois pier in July 1976 and was weighed at Temples fishing tackle shop in Whitley Bay, ( long gone), coming in at 15lb 4oz.
My mate had to climb down onto the concrete base and handball the fish up. It was in pretty poor condition, and no doubt if it had been a prime winter cod, we wouldn’t have landed it!
