- This is a full ride of Los Angeles Metro Rail E Line Westbound (train model: Kinki Sharyo P3010) from Atlantic Station in East LA to Santa Monica Station in Downtown Santa Monica. E Line is one of the busiest and successful rail lines in Los Angeles. This rail line passes through East LA, Downtown, University of Southern California (USC), NASA Endeavor Space Shuttle, Culver City, West LA and Santa Monica.
The E Line Westbound terminates at Santa Monica Station in Downtown Santa Monica. A few blocks away from Santa Monica Station (3 minutes walk) is the famous Santa Monica Pier and Santa Monica Beach. In my opinion, the best traveling option to visit Santa Monica is the E Line. Parking and traffic is a hassle in Santa Monica (and I-10 Santa Monica Freeway). E Line gave me a peace of mind exploring and relaxing in Santa Monica. I didn't had to worry about traffic or parking.
In addition, there are tone of great restaurants along the E Line (no matter what part of town the E Line travels through...it is very hard for me to recommend).
As of 2023, the full ride to ride Metro Rail E Line is $1.75. I have used the Metro Tap Card to enter/exit the station (www.taptogo.net/). E Line arrives every 10-20 minutes. For more information about Metro Rail E Line, visit www.metro.net/riding/schedule...

On this day on September 19, 2023, The video was uploaded on the same day that Ngọc Poly (a girl from Vietnam) celebrates her 20th birthday.
@23:40 she should have guessed the train across the platform was going the other way.😂
Yeah I don't know why but buses can be really relaxing and nostalgic to me even though this is a train 🤣 well.. same for trains
This train is used to be Gold Line (L)
Half-of it. RIP L Line
H-TOWN EXPLORER, BRIGHTLINE JUST ANNOUNCED THAT THE ORLANDO SERVICE IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
Yes. Service to/from Orlando is open! Will be there soon. Pretty excited about Brightline!
Awesome video HOUExplorer keep up the Great work can you do a bus action at TMC TC for the next vid
Thanks. I will try to have the TMC ready sometimes in October.
Holy hell here before 1K
@Houexplorer in the east LA portion the train travels under the 10 freeway between the Soto and mariachi Plaza stations, not. Between Soto and Indiana stations as was put in the video. lol
The fares for riding the trains is the same as for riding the CTA trains and buses in Chicago.
what time was this? would be good to get a glimpse of the inside to see how crowded it gets
It was filmed on a Wednesday noon (around 2pm).
From what I noticed, the E Line gets the most packed during the early morning like 6 - 8 AM
A que horas pasa por el sentro a santa monica
Was this the train that began in downtown LA, this was back in 2018, and ended in Santa Monica?
Yes, back it 2018, the train line that ran between Downtown LA and Santa Monica was known as the Expo Line. After LA Metro renamed their rail lines, the Expo Line became the E Line.
@@HOUExplorer Thank you for clarifying. It's been a long time since I visited L.A. and if I remember correctly; the expo line's last stop was Downtown. I could be wrong though.
@@nemisiesaidSTARSYes, I believe the last station was 7th St Metro Center Station. Then it took part of the L Line’s route to Atlantic Station starting in Little Tokyo Station.
Kinki Sharyo
Los Angeles California that place is really expensive and to much Mother Natures natural disasters with forests fires and the Earth doesn’t hold still that often. 😬
