- Welcome to a full ridealong, on the eastbound E line train! This train goes through the newly opened regional connector towards the Downtown Los Angeles section of the timestamps. This video was filmed on a weekday during the evening rush, so you can see lots of people waiting on the platforms, and since trains were running every 8-10 minutes at filming, you can see lots of westbound trains on the other track! Enjoy this ride, and enjoy taking in the sights of the 2nd longest light rail line in Los Angeles. The Full A Line Video will be published soon if it hasn't been already. Thanks for watching!

I did this same ride last year. It was great. I hadn't been to the beach or the pier in 20 years because parking was always a hassle and not cheap. Or, took too long before the Regional Connector. Plan to make the trip from East LA a lot more often this year once it gets warmer.
Good to see more people using it at many stations. Good video. Well done.
Thank you so much! E line gets very busy during rush hour
Transit signal priority in Santa Monica is working well!
It sure is! I hope they add more signal priority in other slow areas like the LATTC/Downtown LA Area
@@TigerRailfanIn East LA too.
I had to cut out a lot of stopping for signals in East La, maybe it’s luck?
@TigerRailfan I meant they need to add signal prioritization in East LA too.
Nice work
Thank you!
Great video!!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed
Of course and thank you!:)@@TigerRailfan
Of Course
Nice video!
Thanks so much!
BTW, they should close the Farmdale station. I always thought that station wasn't needed. It's a strange location too. There is nothing of significance close by. Just seens like a weird place for a station.
Yeah it is in a weird spot, I wonder what it’s ridership numbers are and how it compares to rest of system
Is the metro k line rail is going to get big
Yes! It has two extensions planned, one south to the C line through LAX, and one north to Hollywood and the Hollywood bowl. However these are slated to open pretty distant into the future, northern section is scheduled to open in roughly 9-10 years
hey!! i'm planning to take the blue line down to long beach soon.. is it safe?? im concerned abt safety it's been a while since ive been on the metro
Hi! The Blue, Expo, Green, and K lines are typically safe from what I’ve seen
