Draymond gonna diss Jay on his podcast. 😂
everyone should diss Jay on their podcasts haha
yes and will not hold himself accountable.
But was he wrong in what he said or nah??👀
Just like her did KD
BOOK 📙 IT
No one blaming Steve Kerr or the warriors franchise for enabling Draymond to this point. Constantly defending him when he was in the wrong. Steph deserves much better.
Steph os a terrible leader and lucked out getting KD and playing injured teams during his 4 chips lol
@@Flare8124winning 4 is 4 MJ, Lebron, and Kobe had a lot of luck as well
@@Flare8124you’re proof why internet access should require an IQ Test
I really don’t know why everyone is talking about Steph legacy here tbh. Draymond is an adult and the focus should be on him and him alone. He is destroying his own legacy and clearly a bad leader and that is what should be discussed, dragging Steph into this is not fair at all.
There's truth in here, they are allowing it to be part of their culture, to the point that it is now defining their culture.
Outside of Draymond himself, Kerr is the one who is at fault here. He is still using words like "unfortunate" and "he will bounce back" as if something bad happened to Draymond.
True
Kerr been a clown
You’re the coach…it’s your responsibility! He’s only a problem because he helps the team when he plays. Players get away with anything they want if they have talent.
We don’t know what Kerr said behind closed doors. He was never going to do it in front of the cameras
@@sylviamorison6396Clearly he has said nothing given Green’s consistent behavior.
The emotions on Steph’s face said it all last night. He probably knows in his heart that a change is needed. So Unfortunate too because he is still playing at such a high level and Draymond is ruining it 🙈
Steph didnt play that well lol. Wiggins did. Reminiscent of 2022 Finals
sadly true...he wants to keep that orignal team cause they still good but steph know its time got dray to go fr.\

@Reaper13-hi3yo Wiggins' 18 points per game on 44 fg percent in the 2022 finals got you all wilding. Talking about carrying curry lol.
Who cares!!! Stop crying and get ah Playoff spot! I don't see Klay or Draymond holding up fo fingas 🤣🍻🍺
The "how does this effect Curry's legacy" meme is officially BORN🔥🔥
Depending on another man to control another man Is tier 1 INSANE WORK!!!
Asking a leader to handle a follower is not crazy work. Draymond playing football on the court is crazy work. Him not caring about his actions hurts their team. Literally something has to happen
No it really isn't. What you're saying is there is no such thing as leadership
Can tell you never played sports😂😂😂
It's not about controlling him it's about calling him out to his face & not giving him Draymond a hug after the game like a mommy spoils a misbehaving child. It's rewarding bad behavior. Curry kicked a chair because he's a weak leader & not man enough to get in Draymond's face. THAT is the "whatever it takes" Curry said with his sad face in the interview but Curry isn't really about doing whatever it takes.
Good point
“Steph deserves better” is the most honest way to say about this situation , and it is really selfish
Draymond is a narcissist. Every time he does something wrong, he comes on his podcast and apologizes but then also starts rambling on and on to "give more context". Eventually, he paints a picture of him being a victim of circumstances to justify his behavior. That means he's never really remorseful and won't change. He doesn't see himself ever as truly in the wrong. Narcs never change and I don't expect him to.
Great point!!
And people were saying Nurkic was being insensitive he he said it won't be long till Dray hurts his team again. Nurk was right, the suspension wasn't long enough.
The most spot on breakdown of Dray I’ve seen.
Agree 100%. When I see these outbursts from him, it only makes me wonder and worry how he is with his kids at home. Narcissists aren't typically able to switch it on or off based on their environment, so I only hope that he's not this bad when it comes to his family. But in all likelihood, this dude is every bit of the tyrant at home that he is on the court.
Of course lol you got clown fans defending him every time 😂
Molly actually made a good point: is Draymond choosing not to control his emotions or is he genuinely not aware of his emotions at times? We all have breaking points as human beings, fair enough. To me, he’s flat out CHOOSING NOT TO reel his emotions in. He will never change. Adam Silver dropped the ball giving Draymond that phony “indefinite” suspension. 18 games is a JOKE. Only reason he didn’t suspend him the entire season is to keep them relevant in the play-in tournament race.
That brother need help
Molly is beautiful so people knit pick and want to see flaws in her she makes a lot of good points and she's smarter than given credit for .
Molly was waiting to chime in about that relationship analogy🌹👀
😂
lol
Allow
She's probably the crazy one that doesn't give a crap about anything but herself. She and Draymond are perfect for one another

Broke my heart to see Steph Curry shed tears cause Draymond don't see the big picture
Telling a grown man to control another grown man is INSANE
Its called being a leader you 🤡
A grown man who can’t control his own emotions is even more insane !
It ain't even about control another man emotions it's about keeping him in check when he's being a detriment to them.Draymond doing what he does cuts at their morale, loses them a player if he's ejected and might shift game momentum depending on how things go plus it's mentally exhausting dealing with someone this much a troublemaker
Yeah that’s wild
I feel bad for Curry. I DON'T feel bad for the Warriors -- they all know who Green is as a player and they gave him that contract extension. you make the bed, now lie in it!
I think if you took a nationwide poll, more people would want to see the Rockets take that last play-in spot. A young, exciting team, plus another chapter of LeBron vs Brooks. LeSilver unfortunately wants Lakers vs Warriors. He almost managed to get a dub for OKC last night.
That girlfriend analogy was savage 😂
Draymond has no sense of accountability, maturity, and professionalism.
Steph deserves better from Draymond.
“Remorse is only greatly appreciated when there’s change behind it” 💯
Steph knows that he’s emotionally done with Draymond for this day forward. Last night he seems to be mourning his care for trying to save Draymond.
Ship him off to Detroit
I’m as exhausted as Steph😂
You cant control Draymond. Steph knows it more than anyone and that what we saw yesterday
Yup, and I wouldn’t blame Steph on his leadership. Draymond was brought up with their big 3 Steph, klay, green so he views himself as their equal. Nobody on that team can do anything to him physically. I think he was more controllable back when they shad Iggy, David West, Cousins, etc. Because they can step up to him and possibly win a fight and not get “pooled” 💀
@@123FUG33I blame Steph no disrespect to him but Lebron won’t allow that.
@@dreezy1270Lebron would get the player traded. I think Steph is loyal to a great player and athlete, and probably friend, but the hardest decision of his life would be to endorse a Draymond trade behind the scenes.

Wow you mean the 10 game suspension didnt change his attitude or teach him any lessons? Im shocked
It was 21 games…
@basketballboygenius2034 no he actually missed 12 games to be exact in his most recent suspension, but point being it was basically a mini vacation and he learned nothing

They know its futile at this point, the guy just do whatever he likes and whenever he want.

Haha.. how many championships KD has without Warriors? I think both sides was happy to play together
That emotional reaction from Steph was a sign that he’s done with Draymond. That tearing up reminds me of the trope of the parent going to the umpteenth juvenile court arraignment with their problem child when they realize their child is a lost cause and beyond their help. Mark my words, he just let Draymond go in his heart. Steph is done with Draymond after this year. Draymond gets traded this offseason.
Yes!!!!
Who wants Dray on their team at that pricetag?
Facts that was the moment that solidified it them tears were Steph thinking to himself it’s time to move on from draymond
That’s a grown man lmao he’s what 34 with whole kids, This ain’t on Steph, He’s not his baby sitter smh, ESPN agenda takes, this why I’m glad Bron and other players doing podcast now
I agree but I think at some point as the leader he should tell him to calm tf down and bark in his face but Steph doesn’t have that in him. Look at kg and Paul pierce relationship for example
It's about calling him out to his face & not giving him Draymond a hug after the game like a mommy spoils a misbehaving child. That's rewarding bad behavior. Curry kicked a chair because he's a weak leader & not man enough to get in Draymond's face. They're saying it's a reflection on Steph. It makes him look bad whether it's his fault or not. Which is true. And it sucks.
Steph knows that he can still do it. That he can still push for one final run to get his 5th. Unfortunately, not everybody has the same conviction.
No Steph is the only good part of their teams everybody else is trash
Phenomenal takes and rebuttals all around great coverage 💯🔥
That's why I get confused when analysts talk about play Superstars like Steph and LeBron and KD got a hold other players accountable for their bad actions when that person cannot or will not listen you can only tell a person so much what they need to do to correct certain matters it's up to them to change nobody can make other people change but themselves personally
If he had ever called him out wether on the court or in a interview would have went a long way. But he never has nor has Kerr. He's like a spoiled child who's never been told the word no
@@MrOctober44 Steph probably called him out privately. You know him he's not that open to the public with this kind of situation. Y'all just wanna blame every superstar whether It's Steph or Bron when their teammates are acting like crazy like they don't have a mind of their own.
@@Mr.NathanFritz And we see how well that's worked, lol. Another selfish. My point was had he or Kerr actually call him out publicly maybe that would have worked. What is there to lose? lol Steph ain’t no confrontational dude, but if I was him I would’ve gotten rid of draymond and Steve Kerr a long time ago
Call it what it is. Lack of maturity.
Exactly this! Green lacks maturity!
Nice seeing jwill back on espn
I feel behind close doors I truly believe Draymond Green has a tab bit of a jealousy streak any time someone new comes onto the team that’s getting more attention than him. Then he starts acting out and giving the bully syndrome or having his childish tantrums.
You're talking about jackson and i think you're right..Good or bad, green wants all the attention all the time..Such an immature little boy inside a grown man's body
Need that next Nurkic soundbite and 🎤 drop that
Mollys agreement in her voice with the relationship analogy has me thinking she's still going through that divorce pain
Draymond Green is an habitual line stepper. Habitually. You think after that he learned his lesson right? WRONG! This is Draymond Green we're talking about here. Draymond Green Man😂😂😂
Lmfao!!!!!
Curry cannot babysit Draymond! No one can!
Draymond should exercise the same restraint these ex pros do when Molly keeps talking over them.
It's crazy how Draymond was trying to make light of himself getting ejected by waiting and doing putting them to sleep.I can only imagine the look on Steph face.
6:56-7:04 I would've loved to see Steph just walk past Draymond and ignore him.
(Warriors fan for nearly a decade)
Draymond is a habitual line stepper
Draymond is never going to change he knows wat he doing Steph can’t control Draymond none of them can or they scared to do so
That 4yr/$100 mil contract looking mighty funny right now.
The season just started now it’s almost the playoffs time flew
Lebron Jordan and Kobe are who they are and thats why they are great. They command respect and discipline and are the alphas of their team. Draymond doesnt fear Steph so he cant tow the line. Steph should step up and really speak his mind when it comes to both Klay and Draymond because at the end of the day its his franchise.
Exactlyyyyyy! Thank you!
Haven't heard a statement as real as this for a while now. Rare.
Draymond would have knocked down Leb*tch by now if they were teammates for more than 10 years. Draymond respect Steph more than you can imagine mf
Also these players don't fear Adam Silver. How many players who played under David Stern talk about how strict he was. I remember Kenyon Martin said Stern was about to kick him out the NBA because of his "hot head" temper.
I think what’s different in Steph’s position though is that he’s dealing with Draymond. It’s like what you said-Draymond thinks HEs an alpha too. Switch Steph out with Kobe or Lebron and I’d guarantee you the result would be the same. Like what the crew was discussing. Steph’s been a spoken leader for his team-it may not be publicly, but to target Steph’s leadership I think is the wrong approach here. Draymond’s the one who’s not realizing his position and role on the team.
"Draymond is a great teammate" narrative is such bs. The dude told the most skilled player on their team to leave after begging him to join in the first place, and punched his other teammate for no reason. There's a difference between being passionate about something and being just straight up unstable.
7:10 I thing I hated is how Draymond after the game was all smiles and embracing Curry for getting them outve that situation like he didn't almost cost them the game. He might not understand the seeding situation or care but there's others on that team that do and Kerr and Curry need to hold him accountable for that.
I actually think both sides of this argument are true. The reason Draymond Green is still in Golden State is because Steph Curry doesn't want to play without him. Draymond is like Steph's security blanket because Draymond knows how to set screens and get Steph the ball.
Therefore, Draymond, who has a narcissistic personality, believes himself to be untouchable.
If the front office thought they could bring the hammer down on Draymond without it possibly making him mad and want to leave and thus making Steph angry, then they would.
Curry needs to make it clear to Draymond that his self-imposed unavailability is a deal breaker because it is visibly stressing out the entire time and coaching staff.
Steph has talked to him behind the scenes, but Draymond ultimately knows Steph wants him in Golden State, so he feels invincible.
I agree. Curry is much more complicit than these talking head buddies will admit. That's why he's so emotional, like a loyal wife who just had the philandering old man cheat on her again. He needs to throw him out the door, or find his own exit. It's a bad marriage.
Draymond is the reason I've said, 'I never want to get too close (relational) with anyone where we lose the ability to be honest (candid) with each other.' Obviously, I don't know but I would bet a years wages that none of those allegedly close to him hassaid, "Bro! You need to cut this $h1t out. You've got some emotional issues you need to deal with."
It’s hard to feel sorry for the Warriors, they’ve enabled him
Don't usually watch First Take let alone a whole segment when Stephen A isn't there but this was interesting
I remember when Dennis Rodman would get ejected numerous times when he was with the Bulls but it was always after he got his 15-18 rebounds and the Bulls were about to win. Draymond is constantly getting ejected when the Warriors are fighting to stay in the play-in.
That's the difference between the 2...
KD would have stayed at GSW if Draymond wasn't the way he is.
i'm convinced that when Green retires, he will be in the NBA Hall of Fame. i'm also convinced that his attitude and demeanor will also get him arrested and put in jail....
Goofy
Arrested and put in jail? LMAO!! Dude is a model citizen off the court. What are you talking about? Now on the court is a F’N clown. Poor Steph & Klay. They need to trade homie in the off season for a bag of chips.
He'd have the worst stats of any HOF player by a mile if he got in. Mr. Triple-Single. Rodman at least had a ton of rebounds.
Facts
If Gsw can get rid of Iggy after he questioned GS training staff handling KD's achilles, they can get rid of Draymond for being a distraction to the team
They really got rid of Iggy for THAT??? That’s hard to believe…
Draymond is just showing us the fatherless inner-city individual he's always been
I'm from the inner city and I was fatherless so where is the correlation? There is none. You're just a POS racist
LeBron had no father and didn't act like this
Say you're stereotyping black people without saying you're stereotyping black people...... foh
the warriors could still have KD and/or poole right now but they have draymond who can’t even stay on the court 😂 insane
KD would have leave GS either way, he wasnt happy there and Draymond was just the excuse he needed. As for Poole, you see how hes doing in Washington right? Losing him wasnt that big of a loss to be honest.
@@tigera6actually if Draymond isn't there instead, maybe he stays because it's one less all star, who knows. We'll never know.
I like Draymond but GS doesn’t “need” him. They can pick up a center like Andre Drummond and be in way better shape in the standings
I hate when media says “I’m not saying that but”
Nah y’all are the only ones saying that
I love draymond, but his just. But his not realizing that his behavior is affecting the team .Once he gets hot, he keeps pushing his emotions onto the whole team ,his not thinking about the stress he has created
I don’t doubt Steph has been a leader off court and made his point to Dray, but in this instance last night, Steph could have and should have pulled Dray away from the situation. He was literally standing in the middle. That’s also a moment for leadership. Would MJ, or Bron or other greats that we laud for leadership have just stood there and passively let that escalate? Dray is the one that has to change for sure. It’s his fault, but of all the teammates and coaches, I think Steph is the only one that can step in during those moments and remove him and honestly put him on his place.
Jay Will Right 👍🏾

I'm interrupting ESPN's coverage of basketball to talk about an athletic performance of a lifetime... in ice skating. Illia Malinin just did something no other athlete in the sport has ever done and he must be a contender for ESPN's sports performance and athlete of the year. At the World Championships 2024, Illia Malinin, in 4 minutes, revolutionized skating by completing 6 quads, in a world where just one quad is considered Herculean. ESPN is filled with a bunch of straight men who will look right past the sequins, because their manhood is threatened, and give awards to athletes in football, basketball, and baseball. For ESPN to deny Illia Malinin recognition will be an affront to the sport of ice skating and demean his athletic genius.
Just watched it. Thanks for the heads up. That was definitely incredible. The video from NBC had over 2 million views on it so it looks like it’s getting coverage. If you’re hoping ESPN will cover it then I truly doubt it because I don’t think their base fan base follows skating like that.
