They turned a blind eye, and probably actively encouraged, his conduct on the court because it led to winning. And they tolerated it right through that run. The time to have cut and run from him was when he punched Jordan Poole prior to the start of the 2022-23 season. He should’ve been suspended by the organisation, which he wasn’t. And then when it comes to the end of the season they get rid of Poole and sign Draymond to a new deal. That is actively endorsing his cowardly behaviour. IMO the Warriors have made their bed. They can lie in it.

Draymond never sincerely apologizes, he always has an excuse. Even after this incident he said he should have turned more towards his bench before saying anything. That is not accepting responsibility for his actions. He has consistently received preferential treatment by the league and the refs. He routinely gets away with constant complaining whereas other players on other teams would be T'd up immediately. We notice and it's not a good look for the league. Even after two suspensions for violent acts he still got a gig with the All-Star game. Shame on the league and the Warriors and everyone else that enables his poor behaviour. No more excuses.

i dont think curry was mad, or sad. i think he just came to a realization that his possible best friend on the team, is no longer trusted. Might of had a feeling where he just realized that he can no longer be best friends with him, and that his trust in him has completely deteriorated. Thats the feeling i got with watching curry's reaction in the first time i saw it. I guess sadness would be the best word for it, but i think it was deeper relationship thoughts than just anger.

Random psychology theory from a guy who is not only not a psychologist, but also does not watch videos about psychology:
Draymond is insecure about his talent and place in NBA history. He's a 4 time champ, but he's also Mr. triple single. His ego is stroked by being able to be this much of a troublemaker while still making 25 million per for the Warriors. Them putting up with his crap validates him as a great player in his mind.

I think he wants to be treated like a potential GOAT for all the crying and moaning he does. Sure, people whisper about how he rides Steph's coattails but his issues are self-inflicted. He has support from the org from the top to the bottom. Poole called him out and look where that got him. DG is protected but still thinks he deserves more. A bit narcissistic don't you think?

This is a great point. It's as if he's playing a role within a role, to be martyred as a memorable figure for a championship team. In this case, as the "tough, physical player, and protector of his teammates." The role he's trying to play is unfortunately causing destruction and chaos. Also speaks to how a higher social ranking, in this case NBA Championships, enables entitled overzealous behavior.
