Although you showed off a LOT of realistic artists and painters, I'd like to mention that many manga artists and animators ALSO have to know and learn these things and will often use that knowledge to enrich their content. If you want to be a manga artist or animator, you need these skills just as much as those who make realistic figures.

I used to like drawing when I was a kid, but I was never that good at it. I bought some Burne Hogarth books when I was fifteen (e.g. Dynamic Anatomy, Drawing Dynamic Hands). I gave up soon after that though so I never got to progress :/ Some of the drawings in this video are really cool. Is it too late to get good at drawing by the age of 24?

Also, although he wasn't talking about drawing, I had a French teacher who started learning the language at 40 and spoke it beautifully as a 50 or 60-something.

My art goal for 2024 is to get a solid grasp on anatomy to the point where i can do any pose from imagination (Cuz being bounded by my reference is really a huge problem since i can't afford pose bundles), with this being said im starting all those 121 videos and every assigment that comes with it, starting from the very beggining over again, here i go.

Nice content! Hopefully this will help my realistic drawings not look like anime anymore. I struggle with anatomy in general...

It's so cool that you put some works of Steve Huston and Jeff Watts on the video, they're awesome artists and unbelivible good teachers.

A lot of these videos are actually very good for yogis to better understand the body. I stumbled upon these by searching for rib anatomy videos. He explains human anatomy in a way that many people who are making pure anatomy videos don't do.
