  • Mohanji talks about the significance of Lord Ayyappa and the pilgrimage to his abode at Sabarimala in Kerala. He explains how and why the location is a power center and the specific nature of the deity at Sabarimala. Millions of devotees from all over the world visit Sabarimala each year. They undertake an intense self-purification process for 41 days, involving purity of thought, word, action, intentions, and all aspects of existence. Breaking all comfort zones and aspects of one’s usual personality sets them up to receive the grace that is required to complete this arduous journey. In this context, Mohanji also talks about how one transcends from a normal person to the stature of a Master, helping us understand the true significance of such a pilgrimage.

    Sir regarding women not entering sabarimala: The temple is also said to be a moksha dham and connected with higher Chakra, there is also a view that if a women who menstruates visits sabarimala will either have problem in her menstruation cycle or move towards Sanyasa depending upon her level of consciousness, that’s the reason of that age restriction. Please advice if you can put some light on this. Lots of love and light 💕💐

Shani Shingnapur too have started women entry now. Then is it like Ayappa Swamy is called Lord of Kalyuga because he knows human tendencies and their difficulties in sustaining brotherhood as most are under the influence of maya? Also being supreme and a perfect yogi, lord Ayappa knows what's goes on in human mind when person is in menstruation.

    • @MohanjiOfficial
      @MohanjiOfficial  Před 3 lety +4

      Dear SP,
      Thank you for your question. There is a possible misunderstanding of what celibacy is. Mohanji spoke about it earlier.
      “Q: Why do many people who embark on the path of spirituality want to renounce physical or sexual experiences? Why do they consider that as a nuisance or an obstacle in reaching their spiritual blossoming?
      M: I think the answer is already in the question. Which part is worried about sex? This problem is because, where should sex stay? I believe it should stay with the body. Why is it staying with the mind? That is the problem. I believe sexuality is something which is connected to the body because it’s connected to the species. For having the continuity of species, you must have sexuality. Not just human beings. Every being on earth enters into this activity at some point in their life. Why? Because the species must continue. That is why the creator has created this kind of effect. But human beings keep things in the mind, then there is a whole lot of problems...”

      qawithmohanji.wordpress.com/2017/12/04/stay-steadfast-on-the-path-satsang-with-mohanji-in-novi-sad-serbia-part-ii/
      Or here
      “Q: What is brahmacharya or as I understand it’s a celibacy?
      A: It’s again a state. Brahmacharya is a state where you are not controlled by lust or greed or other emotions, where you are stable. But I would personally say that not making love, not having a relationship would not probably help brahmacharya. Enjoying equanimity while existing in every aspect is the right aspect of brahmacharya...”

      @BiljanaVozarevic Před 3 lety +3

      Dear Rajeshri,
      I know Mohanji talked about the reason why women are not allowed in places with idols. One reason is because in menstrual cycle a woman's energy is low and any additional energy from idol will not increase it, so it would be useless. Like pouring water in a pot with a whole. On the contrary, the woman would be draining energy from the idol while it is difficult to maintain it. Another reason is what Mohanji mentioned in this video as well - protecting women, rather than discriminating them. In yogic science, during the menstrual cycle, 1 of 5 pranas called apana (i.e. force which enables downward movement in the body) is very strong. Going into the temple will unnaturally force it upward because temples are designed for that - for raising the energy and making it move upward, to evolve spiritually. However, as it is unnatural, in a menstruating woman it can cause a disease, like endometriosis and other complications caused by the blood trapped inside. Apana was disrupted and blood was not able to go away. Here is a video with a detailed explanation how not going to temples is actually protecting women, not discriminating them. czcams.com/video/jlWltNk_hGU/video.html
      I hope it gives you more clarity.

      Mohanji answered, " I connect when you connect. I connect when you do not connect too, just like electricity stays at the switch board on your wall. When you think or talk about me, irrespective of whether it is good or bad, you are connected to my consciousness. I am always with you, whether you see me, feel me or awaken in me.
