- In this video I continue with the budget upgrades on the SCX24 C10 by adding a 100T motor and reducing the gear ratio with a pinion gear from an old broken servo. these two mods combined seem to work very well for giving more low end torque.

Thanks for stopping in the shop last night (RC MISFITS), Joey & I got the 100T installed & the low end abilities have drastically improved on his C10. It was an absolute pleasure to be surprised by you coming by in person & we look forward to meeting you again some day!
...and thanks for the awesome stickers too brother 😎👍 ~ Shelby (Gitzen Shiggles RC)
Glad to hear the upgrade is working for ya bro👍 and the pleasure was all mine. I'll be sure to stop in again some day for sure.
Looks like the upgrade works pretty good, congratulations to the giveaway winner 👍
Works good as far as I can see👍
Excellent, very good upgrade , this engine is perfect, the total of the improvements is really not expensive and that makes it a very good rc at 1/24. Congrats to the winner.
Thanks brother, we can see that good improvements can be made to this truck with very little experience. I am still not even close to the amount of money spent on a set of shocks for the other truck.
@@BullgearRCvideos 😊👍
Awesome upgrades. Can't wait to see it crawling.
I think its going to work real good
Just got the 100T motors delivered today for all my 1/24's . Thanks for your videos.
Your welcome bro. Let me know how it works for you 👍
Your doing a great job don’t stop and don’t get discouraged 🤗🤗
No stoppin bro🤙
Heck yeah!!! Thank you so much, that’s awesome!!!
Thank you for watching bro👍👍
BullgearRC videos of course I sent email to you too with my address! Thanks so much
2 tone looks great Bullgear
Thanks brother👍👍
👍Cool! that's the 10 tooth servo gear mod you can go with a 9 tooth if you can still find the lynx 9 tooth pinions that I also shown you can use on the small 1/24 rigs..I used a 8 tooth on my RGT but was hard to get working everyone else who tried it told me they could not get it to work on there RGT trucks why I recommended the 10t servo gear and the 9T lynx gears. If you can find the lynx 9t gear you should try that out... I think I have it linked on a few of my RGT videos.
Thanks for the info brother 👍
@@BullgearRCvideos Your welcome, I searched around I could not find any of those 9T pinions anymore they were for like a older t rex 150 heli...that stinks they were awesome for the little 1/24 scale rigs!
Hooray, those new stickers are sweet
Thanks, but not really new anymore. This is an old video
@@BullgearRCvideos yeah I’m late in the game , but I give credit where credit’s due !
congrats to the winner, awesome little trucks
Thanks for watching brother 👍
Very cool upgrade 👍🏼
Thanks👍
Nice mod. Slower motor would be great for many tiny crawling rigs. 👍👍
Thanks brother 👍
Awesome up grades,congrats to the winner,sweet video😎😎👍👍bad... Stickers👍👍😎😎
Thanks James👍
Nice torque in it now, congrats to the winner
Thanks brother 👍
Good mods 💪👍👍
Thanks 👍
Nice mod i like that motor 👍🏻💯🤘
Seems to work pretty good👍
Hello again
genius idea!
Thanks bro👍
Did this last night works well so far
Seems to be a great inexpensive mod👍 haven't had any issues with mine so far
@@BullgearRCvideos I put a little high temp grease just because metal on plastic but I don't even think it would be needed at such slow speed
Good stuff!!
Excellent video! I just ordered that motor from Cross RC today. Can't wait to get it and install it. My original motor on my C-10 died couple months ago after only a few weeks of buying the truck. Love the truck and can't wait to get it going again.
Better than stock for sure. Thanks for watching bro👍
Very informative, thanks for the knowledge 👍🏾
Thank you🤙
When people claim "free" b/c they had it on hand. Doesn't make it free. For anyone to do the mod, they would have to acquire the "free" parts, usually at cost.
So I will assume you are talking about the gear from the broken servo? If your local hobby shop does repairs, they probably have a bunch of old broken servos. Maybe they would give you one. Then it would be free. Unless you count your gas money to get there...then it wouldn't be free
Most of the time if people are using on hand items claiming free its usually something we all can dig up free if there is a WILL. 'IF THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY."
🥲
nice motor mods.ps-ur bug body parcel arrived this side of the pond, cheers al.
Thanks brother. Hope you like it
@@BullgearRCvideos cr24 wheels/cr24 tyres/cr24 shox/cr24 motor.guess wot the next question is goin to be????-lol
@@billiwhizz221 lol, cr24 shocks with axial ends, CR18 tires and wheels hobby plus motor, savox pinion, I see the trend. But if I have to do this one cheap, hobby plus has cheap parts
Buen cambio!!
Gracias por la información!

greetings sir. They call me Grandmaster Grouch. I didnt get your name on the introduction. never the less Im a new subscriber. Not to mention Im a FPV freestyle drone pilot dipping my toes in some crawl action. I dont know what the different T ratings on the brushed motors indicate. Any information around general Crawler Terminology would do me solid champ. Im here as a student you have my undivided attention. I have 3 SCX24 on the way. I look forward to some shop time.
Thanks for subscribing brother. T stands for turns. The more turns the more low end torque the motor will have and the slower it will run. The less turns it has the faster it will be, but will have less low speed control
@@BullgearRCvideos cheers!
Yeah
Awesome video very nice mods great job thumbs up 👍
Thanks brother 👍
Bro another awesome video, and congratulations to the winnah chicken dinnah cheee🤙🏽
I shall soon upload some diy for my kyosho and my upcoming scx24 as well 😁
Thanks brother. I'll be watching for your uploads👍
What wheels and tires are you running on the green C10? They look great. Love that 2-tone on the other one too!
They are the stock wheels and tires for Hobby Plus CR18
Like the stickers
Thanks👍
Liking the new sticker 💪🏽
Thanks brother👍
You had me at absolute minimum budget lol
Lol, I hear you bro👍
I feel like they already have plenty of torque, I wonder if it wouldn't be better to do the 100t motor then gear it up a bit 🧐 either way cool vid and trucks!
You should see them on brushless motors....I have upgraded 3 of them now to different brushless motors and the difference is night and day
Nice mod. Them tires 👌🏾
Thanks brother. Tires and wheels are from hobby plus CR18
great video i will try to make this mod in my deadbolt.. what tires you have in the green one
Thanks brother, the tires and wheels are from Hobby Plus CR18
So you didn't have to switch out the esc/receiver? Like the new snickers! Found out I had to put a little more on my Netspend but mine finally arrived! All the way from back in May.
No esc and reciever are original 👍
Awesome 👍👍
Thanks bro🤙
Awesome vid!
Thanks Brian. And thank you of the kits for the giveaway 👍
@@BullgearRCvideos no problem, it was fun watching your vids and seeing the results! may have to do it again sometime ;-) keep those vids coming!
Really super vide my friend
This sounds like my son and I. He has the no budget brand name build, while I'm cruising ebay looking for deals for my jeep.
I find that the best is a mixture of both.
Nice video broo 😃😃
Thanks bro👍
Did the motor rotate in the proper direction? Or did you have to switch the wires? I have a couple of these motors I just haven’t tried one out yet
If I remember correctly, I had to swap the wires in the plug.
Hi ...1\32 slot car pinions might fit !!
Worth looking into, thanks
So, just got my motor in, and it is driving reverse. Am I to simply either switch the wires opposite on either the motor or the plug? Very new to RCing, first upgrade done, have steering knuckles and diff covers to do, with wheels/tires afterwards.
Swap the wires in the plug. You should see a couple little tabs that you can GENTLY raise a bit with a hobby knife or some other thin small tool. The wires will slid right out. Then just push them back in the opposite holes👍
@@BullgearRCvideos thank you so much. Enjoy watching your builds, and the ideas!
I put a 100T motor and now it's way louder than the stock motor hahaha
I didn't have that issue.
@@BullgearRCvideos shit, maybe I put it back together wrong? Or I need to upgrade the spur?
👍
Thanks bro👍
Can I put rc4wd tires on the hobby plus rims
I haven't tried it, but I think the ones I used are a bit smaller than you would need for your tires. But I think there is a 1.0 set. I will try to look into it further to give you a better answer if I get a chance🤙
@@BullgearRCvideos ok thank you 🙏🏻
If I just change the motor would the truck be faster?
The 100T will make it slower with more low speed control
Thanks
What wheels and tires are those and where do I buy them? Thank you!
Hobby plus CR18 wheels and tires. I did a video about them. You can find them at Cross Rc USA website. 👍
does anyone know where to get a smaller pinion? and id rather not buy a $40 servo thanks lol
Don't buy a servo for the pinion gear....use a junk one.
Bruh, we have the same vapemod
Hi, just getting back into the hobby and playing catch up! LOL Where can I buy this motor if anyone knows? Thank you!
The link to motor is in the video description
@@BullgearRCvideos ok perfect thank you!!
Wow nice Scx, so handsome for your car 😁
Thanks👍
Does this motor make it go faster?
No
@@BullgearRCvideos what can i do to make it faster😂 I’m new to rc but i put a FPV camera on it and now i just need it a little faster. Is there any easy motor upgrade?
@@drewbooFPV you could put in a brushless motor i guess. I have never tried to make a crawler go faster. I typically like to make them slower
hi can i join you guys
Sure why not👊
I asked Siri the same question he asked at the end of the video and she answered two at the same so you can’t do that next time it’s cheating
I switched to a comment picker app for the next one I did🤙
