The main rules of hijab is the intention to follow Allah's rules, and the rules are set that a woman is considered wearing a hijab if it covers her awrat (parts of the body not permissible to be seen by outsiders) and that it does not shape the body tightly. Actually tight clothing can be worn under any clothing to provide extra coverage. Like wearing tights under a dress because it would provide extra covering. Or leggings under a dress to make sure you have coverage or a long sleeve shirt that is tight under a loos fighting top to make sure arms, chest and neck are is properly covered. It's basically an extra layer of cloth to make sure the top layer is not going to be see thru or anything like that.

My sister in Islam I want to say Alhamdulilah you try to cover your aurah. Maybe you have no knowledge but not covering your neck and showing your hair it’s not complete hijab. Insha’Allah you will do the proper hijab.
