I have a 451 CDI and a 452 Roadster, love them soooo much. Always fun to drive 😁
Definitely fun. Love both my 450 and 451. Have not yet enjoyed a Roadster.
I have a four two 450 599 cc and I use shell v-power really good fuel and as you say you get better economy and the car just runs smoother great channel ,👍

Loved loved loved my smart 450 passion spring edition. Have chance now to buy a good runner very cheap but needs some cosmetic, don’t think I will be able to resist!
If the mechanicals are sound the body can always be improved. You must not resist…
I have a 2003 Cabrio 89k on it, just did a full engine rebuild.
Excellent. Did you do the rebuild yourself? They do need it when they get near to 100k.
@@LivetoDriveUK Yes self rebuild, along with a ton of welding. the previous owner blew the head gasket owing to a cracked expansion tank. I decided while it's stripped i might as well go all in with new rings Valves ETC. It did have a full engine rebuild in 2012 at 61k.

Yes I do have a 451. Smoother on the road and quicker although I personally prefer the original 450 🙃
Smart 450 sounds like a rear engine Porsche under acceleration.
It certainly sounds nice under acceleration so I will take that 😁

Thanks. There will be many more Smart car videos. Great to hear viewers from other countries. We have a few from Australia. I can’t advise on the panels, sorry, but I believe, at least in the UK, the 451 panels are still available from Mercedes (I recently purchased 4 corners for my 451) and the 450 ones are available but require painting. Thanks again.

I like your accent voice, its different. How much does it cost to take it to Mercedes Benz dealership, i heard Mercedes Benz is expensive to maintain.
I wouldn’t know as I personally never used them and couldn’t trust them. I use a well regarded specialist.
