- In this video, I refurbish a Microsoft Xbox 360E. I'll go ahead and do a teardown and cleaning. I also clean out the optical drive. After a failed attempt in trying to remove the scratches on the covers, I go ahead and apply a vinyl skin instead. Enjoy the video and chill music!

Great video recently i wanted to play my 360 but remember it made a lot of fan noises and i can see the dust from the outside so I decided to clean it before turning it on again

I wonder if the old DVD-fixing trick of hot water might help to reduce the appearance of scratches on that top piece. You'd need a large pyrex dish with a flat bottom. But since it's nothing more than plastic, you could use boiling water and a longer submerged time.

Dude I repair consoles. I can’t stop laughing from the record scratching and the F-up. I hate when that happens and the e is the hardest case to get open. Hahahahaha.

Hi. Thank you for the view. I usually make it a habit to replace it, but I was out of thermal paste and since I'll be adding this to my collection, I can add it later.

Pretty sure Xbox 360 is region locked so if you are in the US you won't be able to buy games from say Walmart which yes still have 360 game though only ones backwards compatible with Xbox One.
