      minds rated at Max pressure 80 psi. too. they aired it up at 85 psi. when they installed the tires, and I was drifting all over the freeway.. dropped it down to 51 psi. And it drives much better on the freeway.

    Good video, hint, set your camera focus on the tire or chair and put it into manual focus. You had a lot of hunting and it was distracting from the great info. Thanks

      I love how a lot of these Offroad tire manufacturers are starting to get into the small light-overland game!

    Can’t decide between these or Mickey Thompson ATZs. I wanted these but saw a lifted Jeep with the M/Ts and now I’m torn.

    Perhaps leave the auto focus off next time, very distracting. However good video none the less with good information :)

    Snow and ice they fail misserably. Stay away for winter they are treacherous. I run dedicated winter tires so its not a big deal. They are amazing non winter tires.

    How do these tires perform in the snow?

    • @scottcureton6055
      @scottcureton6055 Před rokem

      Ok when new. Got stuck with half tread in wet snow.

    • @ShikokuFoodForest
      @ShikokuFoodForest Před rokem

      @@scottcureton6055 Unfortunately, remaining tread is irrelevant IF tires are getting old. How old are your tires? You can check manufacturing date on the sidewall (week/year). I believe the max. lifetime of the rubber is 3-5 years.

      @scottcureton6055 Před rokem +1

      @@ShikokuFoodForest 21000 miles and 3 years old(5119). They are evenly worn and rotated on my 2500. I like the sidewalls..... in two sets of stt pros and the max I have never gotten a flat from rock or screw but, the Maxx tend to slip around more in mud and snow than STT and the pros aren't very good in snow to begin with. My perfect combo would be to go back to Pros for summer rocks and mud, (even though they are noisy) and get snow tire for winter. I thought the max would be a good all around tire but, thinking back on multiple situations, it is weak in snow department and not good enough in mud. I'd say the first year was ok/good and the last two sub par.
