    what programming alterations would be required from running a proven roughing wnmg insert, to your .032r insert? what's the benefit of running the z in reverse? would the insert break otherwise or just more efficient?

    お疲れ様です。質問があるのですが、送りが上がるということは必然的に今までのチップよりもワークにかかる負荷は上がるのですか?

      コメントありがとうございます!
      はい、送りをあげると負荷は大きくなります!
      今回の後挽き加工は、有効切れ刃長さが長い加工となりますので芯押しを使用した環境での加工を推奨します!

      @@TungaloyCorporation 返信ありがとうございます!後挽き加工ではなければ芯押しをしなくても、切り込みを減らすなどして送りを早くすれば今までのチップより高速加工が可能ですか?

      @TungaloyCorporation  Před rokem +1

      もちろん状況にもよりますが、
      ISO工具に比べますと高送り傾向はございますし、
      コーナー数も6コーナーですので経済的でございます!

    What are differences between sandvik and tungaloy?

    • @cwhuffman01
      @cwhuffman01 Před 2 lety +4

      The biggest difference appears to be the fact that the Sandvik insert is only a 3 edge insert since it has relief on the backside, whereas this is 6 sided and has the relief built into the holder. Not to mention the holder for the roughing and finishing insert is identical, whereas the prime turning requires 2 separate holders for the two different insert shapes they offer. I think they are both good solutions, but on a cost per edge basis the Tungaloy probably wins out.

    Why would you only feed the CNMG at .012" and not the same .024"? Because this insert design is bullshit and you have to stack the deck to make it a viable option, that's why.

    • @ethanbenito4747
      @ethanbenito4747 Před rokem

      Well, I see the advantage of adding essentially 2 more tips, and I'm sure that there are some advantages to this insert over others. However I agree with you on the feed 😂 I was like..... I'm doing a feed of .02 on 1045 literally right as I'm typing this, you just slowed it down on the cnmg for the demo 😂😅 but you know, I don't think it's a bad idea. It probably preforms great in certain applications.
