Runs of actually good games are taken more seriously, so the audience is usually respectful of that and tends to be more reserved. But when the game is already shitty to begin with, nobody cares, so everyone can just have fun with it.

I remembered buying that dragon's lair game at a used good store. I thought it was the OTHER dragon's lair game for game boy color that was a surprisingly faithful recreation of the original dragon's lair. It was almost a shot for shot remake of it in fact, just with GBC graphics. I got tricked about a month later again when I saw the store had Quest for gameboy for sale. I thought it was the remake of the 64 game, but it was just a reskin of some puzzle game. It was infuriating.
Honestly, I don't understand why Mohawk is in the awful games block. It looks like an incredibly technical game and I don't see any glaring faults with it. I'd like to see more runners ditch 10 hour long RNG runs and pick something like this up. Also Phantom Menace might objectively qualify as an awful game but I have fond memories of it as a kid. :p
ngl, the Mohawk game looks like it was an interesting idea that just needed some more polish. The gravity mechanics actually look pretty innovative, although I admit they are a bit nauseating.
Monkey king is actually a tv show in China about Sun Wu Kong who is birthed from a boulder and fought the heaven. The story is fucking fire and everything in this game have some what a depiction of his powers but the game was still garbage

The main problem with Mohawk is that the game is a fun speed game, but the regular game is unfair, confusing, and very, very nauseating.
