That Pokemon Crystal run was hilarious; a total catastrophe in terms of mistakes, dropped inputs, and bad RNG, but wildly entertaining thanks to the runner, the excellent couch, and awesome participation from the audience at home, with some pretty great donations.

There were so many awesome moments and games this year. Tas playing Mario Kart, a speedrun of one of my favorite childhood games (the Hobbit), Ape Escape, The SMB3 race... It's been a wonderful summer!
I'm Thorebane on reddit (r/speedrun), basically known as the GDQ stats person who was doing all the breakdown of numbers and congrats threads. It's so amazing to see the amount of people that come together to raise money for such a good cause! Keep it up GDQ. Never stop!

this was such an incredible SGDQ. I watched most of it live and never expected them to hit over 3 million in donations. The Let's Go Eevee! run was incredible to watch, as was the Tetris Effect, Blind Kaizo Race, SMB3 all forts race, Zelda botw any%, and especially that Blind Punchout run. The blind Punchout run has to be one of the most hype things at GDQ ever, props to Zallard1 for all that skill. I can't wait for Twitchcon.
The fidget spinner had me cackling. This was such a great SGDQ.

Summer GDQ 2019 has to be one of the best ones I've seen since its birth and even some of the real early ones back 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 were pretty damn good too. Look at how this baby grew, starting from small rooms holding 25-50 people to booking practically an entire hall holding over 100+, as this baby grows and grows maybe we'll see this fill up arenas one day.

That King Kai impression had me in stitches.
That 100-0 countdown was legitly the most hype moment of my year so far. I can't even think of a better ending for any GDQ (though I'm open to the possibility).
Best GDQ ever hands down.

If you look up Andy's previous Zelda runs Paddy is always there. He had some really funny stuff during the last couple GDQ's I think last summer may have been the best one if I remember right.
@@Baboonballs He was also the announcer for the Majora's Mask run this year and had some funny interactions. But the amount of guff he gives Andy is always hilarious.
