- Happy Friday!
It is the last day of May, and it marks the end of this year’s Me Made May. I didn’t make a pledge this year (but I have worn me mades every day.. :)), but I thought I’d get involved this last week.
I have filmed a little snippet every day this week (Monday- Friday) where I told you what I was wearing and how I liked it. I ended today’s video with some reflections on the Me Made May concept, and I would love to hear from you here, too. Did you take part? What are your thoughts on this? Whitch of my outfits this week did you like more?

#memademay #sewing - Hudba
Aaahh thank you so much for the mention - that is so kind of you 🥰
Your me mades are fabulous - I really liked your Megan Neilson Jean Shorts - they looked great.
Hope you enjoyed taking part in your own way for Me Made May - It's so great isn't it that it can be interpreted in so many individual ways!
Thank you again ❤
Lovely round up!! And so nice to be able to sit outside!!! Ash jeans shorts… interesting 😉
Thanks Rachael! I love my jeans and jeans shorts, so I have a couple of plans.. :) Feel free to join in the jeans shorts fanclub 😉
I find the concept of #memademay really intriguing as because it enables people to interpret it in many different ways. I didn’t undertake the challenge as 1) I really don’t have a significant me made wardrobe (yet) and 2) have been severely hampered by significant carpal tunnel in both hands. Actually sitting with right arm elevated ATM following surgery yesterday sew…. NO sewing for at least the next two weeks, YIKES 😱! Will have to make do with you tube, internet and reading. See you next vlog 😊
Oh no! That sounds very painful, Julie. I hope the surgery was successful, and I wish you a speedy recovery.
How disappointing that the band shirt didn't work out quite right. I saw on Instagram an interesting solution to a gaping shirt. Sew a button on the wrong side of the placket between the buttonholes where it gapes then make a corresponding buttonhole in the gaping section between the buttons. This new button goes to the inside when buttoned and the rest of the buttons button as usual. It looked like a perfect solution. I've never liked the look of snaps in the gaps. You just can't hide them. I followed Theresa's (Lost My Thread) videos this year. She took a deep dive into determining her style then deciding what to sew to fill her wardrobe gaps. She made very thorough videos about her process. She's inspired me to do that also but later in the summer or early autumn. Too much going on for me between now and August!
Ooh! That is such a clever idea! Thanks :)
