That Clive Dixon noseblunt is one of the gnarliest tricks to ever go down on a skateboard imo
Fully agree. Can’t understand how it wasn’t TOTY
@robertojacobfleck what was the trick of the year when clive did it?
@@bobkilla430Brandon Turner's switch hardflip down wallenberg
@anguscooney8182 both are damn impressive
@@anguscooney8182 damn. okay, maaaybe that was correct call. Super close tho
Geoff Rowley did that in 2002. He was incredibly ahead of his time. If you watch that part, it still holds up today.
You gotta respect any skater who gets a trick on this thing… I pulled up 2 it One day on a bday trip just to check it out & that mf is HUGEEE
100%. It looks big in videos but looks impossible in person. 🤯
Wooow
yeah its def one of those spots where the camera actually makes it look smaller than in person.
I don't respect a buttslide 😂
I eyed this in person.. it eyed me back. I kept walking .
Hard to emphasize how shocking Geoff Rowley's skating was when this first came out. He's a legend for good reason.
He was 100% my guy in the late 90s/early 00s, even though my skating was so totally opposite (small and techy/park transition vs Geoff's huge fast and gnarly).

Geoff is legend!
Wow I hadn't seen Chad Fernandez in a long long time... Underrated skater imo
Same here. Always liked him. Watched 'The Storm' a thousand times as a kid 🛹🔥🤙
Same same, I said aloud "Damn this guy existed too! Didn't even remember and he was so good"
To this day I'll still sometimes say "Just give me a Chad FUR-nan-DEZ!" from his old ACME video.
Chad Fernandez was always ahead of his time, always hit the biggest spots, didn’t get the love he should have
Just rewatched 'Grind' the other night, he's great in that lol
Geoff always had a different mentality than every other skateboarder.
This man was on a mission to push limits
And boy, did he push them! Such a raw, yet smooth style too. He's one of the favourites from those golden years as a teenager-to-adult!
Ted Nugent for President
3:48 Oh man is that 360 Flip a thing of beauty. Geoff is an all time favorite and one of the best styles ever! Sorry era Flip team was insane!
Geoff was always one of my all time favourites, also as a Brit, it’s funny coming back to his videos every few years and the accent evolves more and more American every time haha
I think that 360 flip should’ve been talked about more. That was insane
Replayed it about 15 times, incredibly effortless yet perfect
I was looking for this comment. Totally agree: unreal.
yeah I tripped on that. So much control
Geoff isn't talked about enough when it comes to good 360 flips, he always had one of the best ones in my opinion. The one he does down that set of stairs in some old 411vm pro files is so good
the fact he did that so perfect right after... I've seen that clip so much and didn't realize he did that
Geoff is an absolute animal.
I got flip sorry free with a sidewalk skate mag subscription when I first started and will remember that vid forever.
Legend.
Geoff has always been oozing with passion
That tre flip says everything.
He’s the best to ever do it
He certainly is, but damn that noseslide heelflip out looked sick as hell. Hats off to you man, keep pushing it!
The best Street skateboarding commentator on the planet #GeoffRowley
This guy was always a maniac getting busted open and bloody and was like let's keep going till i get the trick down once he got it he was like "alright let's go to the hospital" 😂❤
Still knarly to this day much respect 💯💪
Beautiful explanation of what it feels like to be in love with skateboarding.
Sebo's nollie flip manual my personal favorite trick to go down. What a unique way to interpret the spot
“I ain’t TRYING sh*t! I *AM* Nose Blunting this!!” 😂😂😂😂 love Clive
Much respect, Geoff. One of the greatest skateboarders ever.
Rowley is so underrated in the world of skateboarding for me he is in the same level as Reynolds or Deawon and yet he still haven't had the status of those two have. Rowley open many ways of skateboarding in his career.
@dennybeck666 for the late 90's and early 2000's skater he still one of the best but the 2010 era doesn't recognize him a much as Reynolds or Koston.
"Find it, skate it and move on".... Awesome words.
Geoff was always my favorite he pushed limits
I love skateboarding, so much. Its still makes me feel, which is rare now a days.
One of my idols growing up , still look you to you bro!
Erik Penton , from WINNIPEG Manitoba, Canada... kickflipped front 50-50 staples. Photo is in thrasher
Geoff Rowley is a warrior and gentleman👏😎👏
Mad respect for anyone doing tricks on that massive beast.
One of my favorites of all time
Geoff is such an inspiration ❤️🔥
Still can’t believe Dollin almost kickflip bs boardslid it at nite time with no camera he said and that was the closest he got from all the other attempts afterwards! Any trick down this is legendary.. 🍻
the 360 flip afterward will always be my favorite one ever done. so effortless and good
The best friend i ever had idolized Geoff Rowley when we grew up skating. This was 100% nostalgia. R.I.P. Michael Chernikoff
Nice to see that Geoff is still doing his thing!
Chad looking like Bam Margera. Dern Bros out here predicting the berric's next vids. I was just watching theirs on this spot. Insane spot, thats for sure!
Geoff pushed the boundaries of skateboarding. Legend!
What a beautiful piece this was. I love skateboarding.
Inspiring words from a true legend!
Geoff’s a legend. And the berrics is like that one friend who has the mini ramp that you just put up with so you can go skate it.
We found this shortly after Geoff's ad came out. Completely blown away!
Rowley is Class
Hell yeah. Geoff is a real pioneer
I remember having the Vans ad on my wall when I was 14. I'm 37 now and I still remember seeing it and being so blown away by that photo.
This is great! Rowley has always been an inspiration from when I was first skating. Very psyched to see this now
When I visited LA in 2016, I went there just to see it for myself, and it's soooo high. Unbelievable. I got sweaty hands just watching this video :D
Still wants to skate it. What a beast. Eric's kickflip 50-50 was real nutty.
So sick! This Skate Register series is awesome.
Best series ❤❤
Great piece, Geoff is an excellent presenter! Need more Geoff!
I really wish that 3 flip after the 50 would have been part of the official video part that was sick
UTTER GREATNESS 🔥🔥
Respect🤘🤘 he's still one of my favorites
Bloody Love Geoff Rowley!
Im old cuz I remember this moment crystal clear. What a legendary spot and moment in skateboarding history. Salute Geoff🫡
Rode the Shams and the XLTs for sooo long. Geoff was my idol
Super well done project. Stoked for Geoff and all rippers.
Keep em coming, this one was great
Amazing piece ❤🇿🇦🤘🏻🛹
That thing is massive
Feels like the Dern brothers video, except Geoff is in here.
Epic! Great Video!
Man i knew this hubba was big but not THAT big!! Shoulder high, thats insane!
"Just another skate spot to me."
That's mental.
Cool series, and Geoff is a beast
legend.. much love.. :)
I love Geoff's perspective on this. Totally agree with him.
I freaking love Geoff what a legend!
"Sorry" and "Really Sorry" will always be my favorite skate video's (and Baker 3) lol
Geoff is my all time favorite skater. Thats it
Dern bros here first
Thank you!
that 3 flip after the grind was so effortless
Geoff embodies skateboarding!
world class content
The uproots and alienations that a local in LA can see.. They show us so much including the ever current obstacles and the ways around ‘em,through ‘em,over ‘em,whateva…. Destroy ‘em.
dern brothers been doing these type of videos
Fark yeah Geoff yah bloody legend..............
Awesome. Geoff rules.
so sick
that flip time from this era set the bar so high in the early 2000s. Kids are just barely getting there at this point and it's crazy lol
I love skateboarding man
Nice one guys, hope u keep doing this
Nice! Haven’t seen anything from him a a bit! Thanks
"It's just another skatespot to me" Geoff Rowley is one of the only people on earth that will look at that spot and say that.
That's sort of how he looks at everything. It's just a spot, just a statue of him, just a skateboard, etc. While he respects these objects, they don't rule him. He lives for the moment and then moves on to the next - only thing is he prefers to push the limits and isn't satisfied with the mundane. The fact that he's even talking so much about old times and old spots, is amazing.
Mamba Mentality, really one of the early street skaters to have it.
It is huge!!
Real skateboard legend
Bravo demais 👏🏻
Geoff is an OG skater. So dope and doing hige stuff way back in the day ❤
Yeah Geoff!💯🔥
hammers. Geoff done some things.
Was my favorite skater growing up 🔥
Legend
this guy was my idol when I was a kid and this video was pure nostalgia! Bring him at the BOTB 😆
Master!!!!
Dane burmans 50 the rail then onto the hubba was insane to me, looked so scary!
Dam now thats passion ! That would be a great series of boards to put legend skate spots on the graphics. Emb, Pier 7 ect ect ...
Remember him as a kid skating the Law Courts in Town !!
Came to this spot one day and there was a dude trying a nollie back blunt. Gnarly stuff. Hope he got it.
