Amazing review. You touch on all the points from the powerful screen and hardware to the limitations in iPadOS. The missing import feature from MacOS Final Cut projects is so odd since the other way, iPad to MacOS, works just fine.
I’ve had my iPad Pro 13” for about a week now. I’ve completely replaced my laptop with it. I still have my large “battlestation” in my office, but I’m using the iPad now for working on the go, notes, video editing, emails, logo/art concepts, etc. I’ve got the Pencil Pro and the Magic Keyboard. I LOVE both.
It’s been great. Super happy with it, and even more excited for WWDC to see what’s coming next

My iPad with the M1 chip also does the exact same scanning of documents. It was a software update.

One downside of Apple Pencil Pro’s find my is it doesn’t tell you the directions where the pencil is. Because it doesn’t have speaker to play the sound. Let’s say, you know it in your house but you don’t know it’s under the couch.
I used the other camera as well.
Apple has said that any clean, soft, lint free cloth can be used to clean the nano screen. It’s true that on their site and in the instructions say to just use their cloth, but I think that’s because of liability.
Is that 11 inch or 13?
Has anybody else noticed grain on the new tandem OLED display. It is especially noticeable when you have a dark room with no reflections and go into the settings.
Not at all, do you have the Nano texture display?
Finally a YT who talks abt the file manager app! IT REALLY SUCKS! The iPad needs more PRO apps otherwise its just an expensive tablet. I as a photographer use it to edit photo with Affinity Photo and sometimes Lightroom but the file manager s really a pain n the butt…hope apple ll fix this. The biggest flaw of the iPad is its software cause the hardware s more than enough
Look at the back metal of the iPad from an angle. They all have rippled metal since they are so thin. It makes them look like they are dented straight out of the box.

Just curious: do you buy all these Apple products with your own money, or are they comped by Apple? If it’s the latter, I think you should disclose that in your videos. Otherwise, I enjoy your videos and opinions.

Something has to change. Same mobile software for years yet this time it’s $2000 for a “base” nano 13” model without keyboard etc (no power adapter if you’re in EU)
So basically,we will be getting a new iPad Pro and iPhone come this September 2024? I was considering in purchasing a new iPad Pro 11 & iPhone 15 pro max, but if we are awaiting something new from Apple for September or October,should I just wait?
Definitely not getting a new iPad pro in September the release cycle is around 18 months. New iPhone in September which is standard.
Joz is likely the guy who keeps the iPad from getting macOS. Imagine him walk down the street in his fancy coat, enjoying the pain of millions of folks that purchased a powerhouse tablet only to realize they've in fact bought another iPhone, software-wise. Yeah, he's that guy.
If I could only download my Finale Music Notation Software to it, I would definitely buy it. I know that that for others would be Adobe Photoshop or some Audio and video software and I wish that apple would make a iPadOS Pro software that would allow you to do that. But that’s just my personal opinion.
I’m trying to decide between the 11” and the 13” I have both and i’m tempted to just keep both 😅
its soo hard to decide. I have the 13 inch m4 and my previous 11 inch m2; still deciding whether to trade for an 11 inch m4 or not...
@@exonorated5092 I personally love the size of the 13 inch keyboard, but I also love the size of the 11 inch screen and portability
I did that in 2018 and kept both. Now I have the new M4 13” and love it.

Had same issue! But having a MacBook Pro 14 and Vision Pro, for me it made more sense to go for the 11inch in the end. But that 13 though.. 😅
I think it depends on the perspective. For me, an iPad can do more than a MacBook ever could. I’m a teacher and can’t imagine it any other way without my iPad Pro. I guess that there are other professional fields where it is similar. For these, an iPad Pro is a professional tool.
For others, it can only be laptops, like a MacBook. Both devices can be used professionally.

The “(actually)” in the middle of every title is starting to feel a bit repetitive. Your videos are well-made, so please spend some time creating unique and engaging titles.

Glad you talked about why do they removed the ultra wide camera, it seems downgrade from M2, and i love the design of M2 camera compared to M4 camera island that looks cheap
