It wasnt Stevie G taking the penalty during the 2nd half - it was Xabi Alonso - and the keeper saved it first, and Xabi ran to the ball and hit in the net.
People don't realise how DISGUSTING that Milan side was they were playing the likes of Maldini, Seedorf and kaka then for a C side liverpool squad to make such an impossible comeback bringing it to penalties!! Ending with Dudek's save too!!!! God could've killed me the next day and I wouldn't mind at all.

Milan were a top 3 team in the world, possibly the best, Liverpool at this time were in the top 20 maybe 15 but were not great at this point. Really we only had Alonso and Gerrard who were true world class players, a few good players and some really average ones. We were about as strong as someone like Leicester now in 05, Imagine if Leicester beat Real Madrid or PSG in the CL final now, that in of itself would be mad, but to do it with a 3-3 comeback to end all comebacks
To put it into perspective, Milan had world class players on the bench
The 2005 Milan Squad were definitely the best in the world at the time, and some even consider it the best team of all time.
Err dude, Alonso wasn’t considered World class yet, and other world class we had was, Jerzy Dudek, Hypia and Carragher. Finnan and Riise were 4 stars. Including Gerrard we had a what suppose to be 2nd best defensive team, and Milan was 1st but they are also 1st offensively, Liverpool offensive on the hand, was just average. The rating back then defensively was 70% defensive and 30% offensive for Liverpool with their run to the finals mostly involved Gerrard as the clutch King. They weren’t top 10 to be considered to even win the CL in 2005.
