Hello, I’m from Brazil! For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer (to whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash.

The song was created by a group called A-Studio - which also was on stage, supplying the instrumentals for Dimash in this concert. It is indeed a beautiful work of art. The song itself is not new, but Dimash singing it takes it to a new level.

Baigali Serkebayev, at the keyboard wrote this song. He used lyrics from the Ukrainian poet Ilia Reznik. This group, A-Studio, first performed the song when Dimash was about 4. Batyrkhan Shukenov was the original lead singer, who died in 2015 after a life of remarkable service to music, his country and Unicef, so Dimash added the traditional Kazakh funeral lament in the middle. A-Studio is a Kazakh band local to Dimash, so they have been an inspiration and influence to him, which he mentions after the song while he is customarily thanking everyone who helped him.

If you like his low dark tones and buttery mid-range, then Love Is Like A Dream may be the song for you. It is even older than this song. It was written by Igor Krutoy about the time Dimash was born and I think the first performer was the famous Alla Pugacheva.
Igor was the tall man in the white shirt who gave a standing ovation at the end of this song. I think it was his first experience with Dimash performing live. I like this version of Love Is Like A Dream : czcams.com/video/xLEQzfqO_l0/video.html , but any performance with Igor at the piano is great. I think it was inevitable that Dimash would sing this song (Love ...), since he is a huge Lara Fabian fan, who also sang it. But it happened early because he and Igor were quick to connect and recognize the possibilities. I don't think Igor got to be so rich by being slow to catch a good opportunity and Dimash also seems very quick to recognize and connect with important career situations. Igor also then wrote Olimpico (Ogni Pietra) for Dimash, which you should see. The version on Igor's site is pretty good, but some of the other fans may have a better hybrid of the best audio and video. Some of the recording releases were so-so. Many of the fancam versions have muddy audio. The big official stage versions tend to pan away from Dimash too much for most viewers. So it is tricky to pick the best one.
