Got the mustad 7'2 rod a couple days ago and have been able to fish with a few times now. It feels absolutely incredible very light weight and handles 14 1/2 inch crappie pretty well. I am going to order another one as well as the 6'6. Have you ever fished old hickory for crappy? I know its a little north of you but it has some nice size crappy in it.

It’s an additive they use at the store I get them from. Probably T-H Marine G Juice. That’s what I use. Thanks for watching

That’s a really tough question because there are so many variables but I guess if I had to choose it would be a sho nuff crappie magnet jig with a 1/16 nickel crosseye jighead. You can do about anything with that setup. Thanks for watching!

BRANDON, I live on a lake in the Midwest…. I have many Xmas trees on this lake that hold lots of crappie. I went out today and seen hundreds of not thousands of fish on the trees. I threw crappie magnets, Bobby garlands, as well as live minnows. Water was 48.5° caught 9 keepers in 4 hrs. I watch them on LS Just follow the bait and very rarely hit it! No idea what to do different to get them to bite.
Turn your hat sideways roll up one pants leg get your favorite lure out and hold it in front of your fish finder sometimes they’re a little finicky 😜
Have you tried a small bait like the trout magnet? Sometimes that small profile change will get them to bite. Thanks for watching
