If the Palestinians really wanted to end the war, they would turn over every last Hamas to Israel. But they decided not to do that because they support Hamas. So Palestinians continue to suffer because of their own decisions.

Hamas has to agree to a ceasefire as well. I think a lot of people lump everything on Israel when there are two parties involved.
They have to free the hostages first.
Hamas has already said they will agree to only a PERMANENT ceasefire which makes sense. They agreed to release all Hostages and POW's and izreal release all the Palestinian Hostages they kidnapped and put in jails
