I like it and how detailed it is and how much it relates to the actual lore even to the point that the thing Shadow's in looks recognizable from the right angle. The only thing I don't like is the presentation of the humans looks more like a typical live action movie with… well… people. Which is a little uninteresting for a Sonic thing. Conversation coulda been shorter to make it less boring. But other than that I like it. C:

I came here expecting the Usual "SFM" style of fan animation. And BOY HOWDY am I glad I was wrong. This is INCREDIBLE quality for any form of fan work. Genuinely. I've just started to dabble into SFM myself and with the little experience i've accumulated i can say, there is some SERIOUSLY dedicated, and Talented people working on this. I've never been a die hard Sonic fan, but Shadow always seemed like the most interesting (regardless of "edge"), and to see THIS LEVEL of work come out for a sonic film is, Awe-inspiring. I hope these people get noticed by Big Wigs in the film industry (or whatever industries apply), cause there is something Special going on here.

Looks way better than the dark approach to Shadow the Hedgehog game. This looks more fitting to the Sonic Adventure 2 game, but made more edgy. Keep it up. 🙂👾

Nice one! This is the first time I've seen a Sonic SFM project which hasn't looked cheap and been ruined by the rendering engine. Awesome effort put into the acting animation too, some of the subtle facial expressions were on point. May be a stupid question, but can I ask if the environments were custom?
JansenM Why thank you I appreciate the feedback. See the unfortunate thing is that many creators don't take advantage of the rendering capabilities of the engine for the sake of laughs and giggles. It may be old, but it was more advanced than some of the animation software that companies had back in day and still looks great today (if used right). To answer your other question (which is an awesome question), the environments were a hybrid of custom and pre built set pieces made by other modelers. Although now I am going fully custom with some scenes so it will most likely look different than the final version interior wise.
