Keep things rusty, except your tools! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
That cars a legendary machine! Glad to see it's right at home with your collection!
So glad to see another lady brought back to life. Has always please keep showing more of your adventures on her. Always glad to see a young guy like you wrenching on the vehicles like this. Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to your next video.
This old gal just makes me smile. What a Gem.
love the patina..and i really like the dash layouts of the older cars..had style..thanks to you and the gang for bringing her back to life..hope to see more improvements ..thx..
It’s a great save , I hope you will be able to do a bit more to it to make it a more complete runner with front seats and some glass to limit the weather getting inside , even if it’s only plexiglass and plastic sheeting
My grandfather drove with grandma, my mother, great aunt and uncle to Idaho from Michigan and back in a 38’ Chevy in 1939. The old 38’ sat in the cow lane on his dairy farm until the mid 1960’s. He hated that car and had lots of trouble with it since new. Grandpa finally drove his 1945 Minneapolis Moline tractor up on it until it was crushed flat.
Really cool this old monstrosity. Running very well.
Although rust has eaten away at its entire body, its engine is powerful and still running. I can't believe it. It's a wonderful car
Thanks for your time very nice know you would make it 😊
Thats a real restoration project
Love the old split windshield, it’s like looking out of an airplane.
That old girl is running great! 👏
Congrats, thank you.
Definitely, let’s see the work done on the Chevy
It's up to us to keep saving these minty old iron piles.
* Great To See The Old Gal Home ! She's downright sassy ! 👊😎👍 Hell yes I want to see you give her some love . I'd start with getting some glass cut to make a windshield. And if you cut a log in roughly the shape of that rear roof corner drill a hole through it and run a cable through it and the roof hole hook it to your winch and pull slow you could pull a lot of the hi-low dent back out. She'd look great with some DC 3 tires in back course you have to trim the fenders or just take them off. Braise up the fender cracks. Get rid of the running board remanence. Tidy the interior a bit etc. Hell I want to help ! 🤭👍
That car has really cool lines to it-I hope you do eventually fix it up more and more.
Great car!! Worth fixing up. If that 216 ever dies a 235 will fit right in no problem. Love those late 30's cars!!
I for sure would like to see the progression of work on the old Master Deluxe!!!
Very cool, love seeing these old cars still surviving!
I would love to see the old car
restored. Pond out some those dents put a muffler on it . That thing sounds really good going down the road. Great video.
Restore is a relative concept
I like this car. It comes from an era when cars had character and were not as delicate. I'm looking forward seeing all the the work carried out on it. Thanks see ya next time.
Definitely want to see more on this old gal
Nice !!
I miss alaska so much. I grew up in the meadow lakes area. Moved to Oregon on 2013 and have regretted it every year. Thanks for the great videos
Glad to see you saving this old iron for posterity. Never want to see an old classic car get crushed. Good for you and DRD fixing that up enough to drive that was a classic video too. Thanks for sharing.
Would love to see more content on this car!
Nice Job Guys!!! I really enjoy watching you resurrect the dead!! Lol Keep up the great work!!!! Mopar Mark
Yeah Brother, another cool vid in the books! Thanks for the ride and it's a cool tribute again to the expertise and know how from the 'Can Do Man'!
Thanks for another great video 👍
What a wonderful piece of equipment.
With all those Ferd trucks, You were in desperate need of a going to town rig !
You got it home just in time to close up the portals for varmint access.
Best Wishes, thanks for sharing.
Such an array of good ol' vehicles and this one is too awesome. Just be sure to get a tetnus booster shot.
The whole country ran on pre-war cars rolling on patched up old tires until 45'/46'.. It fits the yard like a glove.
That looked good fun.
Thumbs up.
Time for a calendar. Make them up and then put them in your merch store.. Keep it old show the beauty of these old rigs up North! Title it “The Survivors”
Some people moan & groan about flat head & F head engines. When they're in good shape they run smooth & sound awesome.
I'd probably try an experiment if I had a port-a-power, to jack the roof dent out a little bit, just to see if it could be done. It'd never be perfect, but who cares? I like that old rig!
BYA, I'm truly impressed with how well that chevy runs! A floor jack and a rounded over 4X4 should push that rear roof back where it belongs. Looking forward to the unit's future! You guys laughed it up and still got the 38 back on the road! Kudos!
Very very cool car!! You guys did it justice for sure!!
Such a great save.
Wow! Perfected with age! I would like to see her as a daily driver.
I've lived in Alaska for 36 years! Yes you're right---it is Harsh! You're very talented -- Good Show... thank you for your content)
It is Harsh you're talented is marked with a line all the way across,,, and yes I am a conspiracy theorist which they're usually turn out to be right all the time... CZcams algorithms...
Awesome! What a brilliant way to spend your time.😊 Would a bench seat from one of the trucks fit? Love to see you do some sort of restoration on it,.. 👍🏻
Hell Yeah bro, would love to see the progress on this old rig👍🇺🇸🤘🔥
Oh Heck Yeah Buddy, I would stich that fender back in shape, fake out a running board, get some digicals working and make her a goin to town rig : )
Now you just need to throw some old bias. Ply mud tires on the back with chains and a big moose bumper on the front. And don't forget the gin poles on the back.
Legend activities 🦅🇺🇸
Great video. Looks like fall is upon you.
Great stuff, again!! Keep up the terrific content, thanks!
Beautiful ride👍😃
Great car. It would be nice to see it fixed to where it's road worthy. New windshield, seats, lights, etc.
this car ist great. Want to see more
She’s going to be a daily driver next summer!
cant wait for you to do some body work and replace glass
Nice going, hope ya fix the dash so it works, spray some ol' paint on it and weld the muffler abit
there is only one tree in the yard that might have yellowing leaves, fall is very delayed in Central Alberta yet again. they were always off the trees this time of year for the longest time. 2-1/2 month delay in weather here to their.
Love the sound of these old cars and trucks running.
Just too freakin' cool! Please get some plexi or mylar and get those broken windows replaced before the snows come. Also, a hydraulic stick to get that whammy somewhat straightened out on the rear roof quarter - not perfect, just enough to get "glass" to fit on the rear half. Sort out the lights and that's all I'd do aside from mechanicals - she looks sweet! That ride is just the best catch - and you're right. Need a proper car for the fleet. Great find and series! Cheers!!!
She's mint👍
Definitely would love to be able to watch the progress on this old gal, this era of cars are just beautifully designed compared to today's modern plastic junk
Had a 41 chevy same patina. Never got mine running before sold it
It fits in perfectly, I'd drive it just like it is.
Reminds me of the car from the Christmas story.....oh fudge!
Will make great content. 😎👌
Love seeing it running and driving, nice work .. love to see what you do to it ..
Wish i had a truck like you got down here in the lower states they are about or been sold for scrap wish i lived in Alaska mite find me one old truck 38 is sweet thanks for the video 🙏👍
It would be awesome to make that a goin to town rig.
👍 👍 👍 👍
Oh man now that there is an engine that purrs, just listen to her go
Nice car and classic design bringing one back to when North America was great with the post war cheap housing and good jobs. Then maybe just maybe a few politicians that could read ahead and do something about our future.
I miss your wrenching videos, to many other channels doing the Red Green comedy hour.
I’ve seen guys get flat glass from the auto salvage yard and cut it to fit.
With the leaves falling guess it's time to go dig out the anti freeze tester again eh
The Chevy really fits with the other old cars you have. Not as mint as the Chevy Scott from Coldwarmotors has. But still a very interesting machine to fix up.
❤
Badass….
Definitely a survivor…
😊
Very cool classic. She's alive but in need of repairs in order to keep her alive. What are your plans? Full restauration on a budget or just everyday patina driver?
Such a fun project, good job guys. Is that front axle bent?
Just wondering if you're able and or going to attempt to track down the previous history of the 38?
Enjoy watching your stuff, Born & raised in Kodiak, had a few 6 bys myself
🤠👍
You are going to need more property soon..
😁😁👍👍
I'd respectfully propose that you start by banging that hideous dent out of the roof. Have fun. Should be good for ten or more videos. ;-)
put it back on the road
i commend you for not driving anything that has an awefulmatic
she's a gooden.
It's running and driving and that's not nothing
winter project?
That would be a great idea. Would make a great series
Luv your videos & decals but too much for shipping.
That is a proper car right there. Too bad they can't make em like that today. So much more room inside, and so much easier to get in and out of them than today's low slung garbage.
👍🤩👍👍
👋🥖🇫🇷
Great old car might be a good idea to get a tetanus booster shot if you're going to make it a daily driver lol
