In Australia we called that hairstyle “flicks”. My cousin was older and stayed with us for awhile in that era and she had perfect flicks like that cover, I used to ask her to do my hair the same 😆
Ps I loved having pen friends back then, I had two lovely ones, one in the UK and one in LA and I kept all their letters. We used to send each other stickers and cuttings from magazines. What a beautiful simple time it was 💕
