This guy needs to be cast in more villain roles, dude is great playing sociopaths.
The actor indeed is actually a sociopath, when he was younger, he had a show in Mexico just like jackass where he gave a guy a big amount of alcohol to drink and that guy died, this guy's just said I didn't force him to do that, it's a shame, so maybe that's why is so good his performance.
He's the embodiment of a psychopath, not sociopath
@@greatbear2886 Psychopaths have no empathy whatsoever, which is not how Lalo is. He clearly shows deep love for his family, especially Hector. A psychopath would just threw his wheelchair in the lake. He also kinda seems to seek out, uuhhhmmm... friends? In a crazy nutjob sense, i guess? He sees one in Nacho and maybe in Jimmy, even of they both are very uncomfortable around him.
@@yogsoggoth I agree but he isn't a sociopath either, sociopathy is much more aggressive and emotionally out of control, lalo's complete control over his emotions makes him look like a psychopath, but he isn't a psychopath too, I think he's just like hector, ruthless and emotionless with business, and loving with his family, he's just a professional, not socio or psychopath
@@greatbear2886agression in sociopaths is stereotype. This stereotype came from testing because most people tested were tested in custody in the past as far as I know.
Gotta love how Lalo's presence indirectly caused BCS season 5 to look drastically more different than the first 4 seasons, perfectly setting up the much darker atmosphere for the end of this beautiful series.
He’s also one of the coolest characters cuz his presence bothers the hell out of Gus and Jimmy so much so that it connects into Breaking Bad. Kinda reminds me of Anakin and General Grievous never meeting during the Clone Wars until Revenge Of The Sith. Lalo is basically a spanish sith

I love that the bell that Lalo gave to Hector was the end of Gus.
They should add to the Breaking Bad universe by having a Lalo prequel/spin off show. They could even incorporate the Better Call Saul events toward the end of the show by showing everything from Lalo's pov to fill in the gaps.
Of course we all know how it ends, but Lalo was such a popular character that I'm sure people would watch it anyway. I certainly would!
I don’t think it’d work with hectors character dead. I feel like hector would have to be a major point in the show and it definitely wouldn’t be the same if they cast a different actor.
