for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God....
When I heard this phrase: if you live by the praises of men then you will die by their criticisms... It was a wake up call! I didn't realize how much I had been seeking the praises of men in my life!... And this is a chain that can be broken in the name of Jesus to break every connection with codependency! exercise is spiritual muscle for a while and see what fruit it brings!
I heard this from a wonderful pastor speaker who I have learned a lot from in the last 15 years! While he is not Catholic the fruits that follow his ministry tell the story of his integrity!
BE LIBERATED in the Name of Jesus!

I remember the exact time as I child that I said that I could/would never be really happy again because it hurt too much to be happy and then crash down when childhood trauma kept happening, and to give up hope for true laughter. This carried into my adulthood and definitely takes a mindset reset to look within and to God for spiritual happiness.
A Trained Gaze is what it took for me as well as a vocabulary filled with light, joy, .... This was a deliberate and intentional act that I had to make
