I feel like Asuka lacks range on some moves but she has so many cancels to mess with.
She lacks both range and speed. Her cancels are alright, but for them to mean anything you have to make your opponent respect you first, so she still has to work harder than other characters who can just throw out like 4 crazy moves out of neutral and be fine.
@@redreaver5598 Some characters get to go absolutely crazy in comparison yea. Hopefully the Tekken team are more proactive with balancing than the SF6 ones as some characters are pretty busted (WTH where they thinking with Jack).

It all depends on the players, she pretty strong attacks
meh people form a consensus so quickly out of thin air these days. Asuka is somehow the lowest tier character less then 3 days in to the game when most of the top level players are only just now leaving the lab to go online. Remember that chun li was once bottom 3 in sf6. And with no patches to the game she is now top 5. In every game people fail to consistently predict the tier placements but continue to be confident and spread it around.
@@SH1NK1R01 Hence why I said "we will see how things unfold". As of now, I can see her being bottom 2/3. Zafina is for sure the worst, her frame that is atrocious, so is her damage output.
Unlike SF, Tekken doesn't change that much from one iteration to the other. T8 is for sure one of the biggest changes since Tekken 5 though. We will see (as I said).
we know its not all abou tthe player, the char is very nerfed now. some simple string they killed it. And they killed simple things that wasnt OP, but gave more power to other wo was already strong... i will never understand harada's mind. @@NorbertoRivera-mm2qn

Reina is a mixup of Kazumi, Lydia with mishima playstyle. It's a no brainer for players who knows this character sets...
I’d say Kazumi, asuka, and heihachi, followed by the Mishima style

Most Reinas I've watched just ewgf all day long (which can be effective, don't get me wrong), while Arslan here actually seems to be trying to use most of her toolset. I love that.

@@thatpersoneveryoneknowsbut7533reina has some better fundamental tools that carry over to other characters as well. Both are ridiculously hard execution and depth wise, so respect the choices.

It is hard to believe that qasim meer's asuka really gives arslan ash's reina a run of his money. I admit it that qasim really owns the match. But arslan ash reina owns the game. I've gotta learn tekken 8 from scratch since my main is no longer available (i am kazumi main in t7). Reina looks interesting btw. It's a mix up between heihachi and kazumi.

She is pretty good, the problem is that there certain favoritisms with characters like King, it all depends on the player and heat made sure of that here, sure you cant deny obvious weaknesses and strenghts of each characters but this time around a character like kazuya which has no poking can still be a death sentence falling in to one of his attacks

Its so sad how weak they made Reina. Almost all her lows are negative on hit, her keep out game as bad and not scary, her pressure is easily interruptable, her tracking is terrible. Great job Bamco.
