Hey TheViper, The DauT socks are still my favorite socks. They fit very well over time, and I have the Lord on my feet. I only wear them for special occasions, like when I watch DauT in the finals
Would have loved to see a capture age analysis of the mid game.
An Arabia variant with only 1 boar would also be interesting. Along with the deer change, it would slow down some of the super-fast feudal age builds. May force players back to berries or making farms to get up to feudal and may encourage more dark age plays.
I disagree. I think it would lead to a fast castle meta that goes stale fast too.
also might make berry civs a bit stronger than intended, and crippling boar civs. but yea, i like the idea of various arabia adjustments to force a different game build up.
@@JesusChristoph-xo9ov How do you get to castle without second boar. Try doing a fast castle build with only 1 boar. Then try it again with someone drushing you into feudal archers.
@@DemonSniper512 You wall up, you place a few farms and go up. If you see enemys going archer you make a few skirms while castling or place a siege workshop. Defensive play will win

i think militia-line has the same problem as villagers. They bump into each other and move around in fights not having the best pathing. If they're unit size decreased by 33% i think they would do alot better.

spreading the deer i think also has the benefit of making the deer pushing more map-gen fair. making the scout time investment for finding and pushing deer more consistent (and slightly longer on average), statistically.

What about a charge attack that didnt do damage but imposed a speed debuff? Im not sure if the aoe2engine can do that though. But it might allow infantry to catch archers.
If you want to see how infantry can be good lool at aoe4, for some reason the infantry is good in that game. Im not sure why though. Maybe it is better pathing, maybe its clunky controls with archers or maybe its speed.
