I started listening to Mamamoo since piano man. But I stan them since I watch this performance many years ago. This performance is epic. I still got goosebump every single time I saw this. The most unbelievable thing is they didn’t win this round in that performance. Yeah….. Unbelievable!
I freakin love this performance. I remember when I reacted to it I was so sad and thought Moonbyul wasn't going to be there. Then was SHOOK when she ran on stage! Loved your reaction to the girls! They all killed it. I specifically loved the Solar/Wheein sing off moment!

Your description about each of their voice is exactly same with mine. Mamamoo is my fav female group ever. Each of them has distinctive unique voice that compliment each other when did harmonize. Solar : strong powerfull vocal Moonbyul : deep husky voice Wheein : sweet honey voice Hwasa : sexy raspy voice All of them has good vocal technique, even moonbyul the rapper has good vocal technique either. Btw, 3:21 is my reaction too, and moonbyul is my girlfriend either 😁😍
Congrats for getting this past the tv network - most Immortal Songs reactions get blocked. This is the performance that made me an instant moomoo when I was first checking out kpop (and not liking most of what I heard btw). I stumbled across Piano Man and was impressed enough to read the comments and take moomoos' suggestion to check them out on Immortal Songs. I lost my shit too but I don't think I broke anything along the way. lol The guitar is actually an electric with a piezo pickup, which produces a semi-acoustic tone. My fav bits in the guitar arrangement were the way he seems to hint at House of the Rising Sun with those arpeggiated chords and the quote of Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez in the countdown to Moonbyul's first rap verse. It's an amazing re-arrangement and it's kind of shocking to think they did all this work and Moonbyul wrote new rap verses that fit seamlessly in a song that didn't originally have rap (of course - Delilah is from the 60's) just for a one-time performance. And that's not even mentioning that they turned a song about a guy who knifes his cheating girlfriend into a lesbian story without batting an eye. Hard to believe they didn't win for this performance. If you want to see their first win on Immortal Songs check out Backwoods. Bring tissues. 😭😂
