Everyone's time must come ..the queen was a grandmother to us all..when I told my 5 year old that the queen of England had passed he said ..she was quiet old mom but she was so sweet .That is so true..and so honest especially coming from a 5 year old ..May her sweet soul rest in peace and my condolences go out to the people of England and all who loved her 🙏. ..we will all miss her 😢 😔 ❤️
The Queen has lived a very long and formidable life. I can't even fathom everything she has done for her people. I almost feel as though she's become a royal grandmother to so many of us.
I lost my grandparents a couple years ago and it's so very hard, and with the Queen especially nations will be mourning for her. All I can ask is that she is kept comfortable and out of pain. No one deserves to suffer. My heart goes out to her and her family, and I hope she can rest easy, knowing that she lived a life full of important and wonderful service to her nation. Long live the Queen, and may her rest be peaceful ❤️

Oh, no! I so admire and respect Her Majesty, what a wonderful leader she has been for so long. I’ve never seen her looking so thin and frail as in this recent photo with the new PM. I hope she pulls through the present difficulty and sees a full century in good health, but 96 is quite old. It worries me on a more personal level, too, she’s only three years older than my Dad and I already lost my Mom this June. I’m American and wouldn’t want a monarchy for my country, but it is the choice of the British people, and I just can’t imagine a better monarch than she has been for so long.

I wandered off and saw a group of people standing near a footpath so I went over just in time to see the Queen arriving. She walked right up the path past me. Decades later in 2012 I was there to see her travel up the Leeds and Liverpool canal on a narrowboat when she visited Burnley with Prince Philip and Prince Charles.
