UK economy is going down if PM is not sacked. She makes no sense. If people lose their house due to extra mortgage caused by increase in rates then what good will it do to bring down energy cost. How stupid is Liz?? Bring back Rishi who exactly predicted this would happen!

Yeah I think you're right about that. Seeing how much prime ministers age throughout the course of their leadership is always quite shocking but the impact that her short tenure seems to be having on her health is actually alarming. I find it hard to sympathise with these Tories, given that they have ruined so many lives over the years, but speaking as a human being, I would say that she needs to step down and go into some kind of treatment. She obviously isn't fit for this job and burn-out is bad enough when you're responsible for anything as a result of work, let alone the fate of a nation. A few days in and she looks like she's at death's door - there is nothing OK with the picture that is being presented by the state, and the precarious state of affairs that we're in is written on the face of the PM.

My wife is a primary school teacher. If the PM had capped energy bills at 2.5k (which she technically hasn’t, but just for the sake of her argument) when they could have been 6k, yet mortgage prices have risen by 4.5k, then if you take the k away (sorry Gove) even my wife’s kids would be able to tell her that she’s got her numbers wrong!
At first all of this was amusing, now it’s just downright terrifying.

Per kw/h, nuclear power is by far the best source of electricity. It also has constant output, and requires the least amount of space
Renewable energy is also very intermittent, and requires a lot of space to get the same amount of energy.

Yesterday the government announced that the banks can not increase the mortgage’s for existing customers and that the banks will have to pay a higher rate of tax to help as they were helped during the bank crisis. Windfall tax until the next April which by the the way the energy companies have agreed too. The energy social tariff has been extended until end of next year.
