GET THE TORIES OUT
UK economy is going down if PM is not sacked. She makes no sense. If people lose their house due to extra mortgage caused by increase in rates then what good will it do to bring down energy cost. How stupid is Liz?? Bring back Rishi who exactly predicted this would happen!
Every time she's asked a question she answers another one, he asked about mortgages and she talked about the energy cap, she does it every time.
Therese Coffey’s like that as well. They spin the questions, they just don’t answer a DIRECT question. You have to grill these bastards like Piers Morgan used to on GOOD MORNING BRITAIN,and believe me,I was NO fan of Morgan!😼
Learnt from the great master Boris Johnson himself. Become the standard and typical Tory response.
I waa getting pissed of with her it was like listening to capital radio repeat repeat repeat
@John Molyneux She learned from the Daddy. 🤔
It's called 'bait and switch' in American politics.
"If she wants to ask us questions, we can swap places." Ian Blackford is a legend :D
Ian and Nicola are a lethal double act. In the SNP's 88 years, it has never been on more solid ground.
He is a European symbol of the corrupt European union

@@danmayberry1185 No workable plan for 'indy'.
Still no answers to basic questions.
The majority of the country never supporting "indy".
The majority of the country specifically opposing another IndyRef.
The snp themselves manipulating you into thinking they are planning another Indyref next year
(They're not. Nope, the SC are not ruling on this. The snp didn't even ask them to.
No, they didn't).
That's one word for him!
Only in his own mind
This woman is out of her depth. And I suspect the strain of trying and failing is damaging not only her reputation, but her health too. She's not well.
Yeah I think you're right about that. Seeing how much prime ministers age throughout the course of their leadership is always quite shocking but the impact that her short tenure seems to be having on her health is actually alarming. I find it hard to sympathise with these Tories, given that they have ruined so many lives over the years, but speaking as a human being, I would say that she needs to step down and go into some kind of treatment. She obviously isn't fit for this job and burn-out is bad enough when you're responsible for anything as a result of work, let alone the fate of a nation. A few days in and she looks like she's at death's door - there is nothing OK with the picture that is being presented by the state, and the precarious state of affairs that we're in is written on the face of the PM.
The problem is is that she won't come clean on her gargantuan error in judgment.
She'd be out of her depth in a raindrop.
It sounds to me that she’s incredibly nasal, even more so than usual. Perhaps she isn’t as detached from Gove as we’ve all been led to believe? 😂
Liz wants Growth. My ass! Go by her actions. She is out to make us permanently poor. The people are easier to control when poor, and the rich growing ridiculous richer. Money in her pocket. That goes for all the Torys.
“Help us get more gas out of the North Sea” She doesn’t know that her own cabinet has exclusive control of every aspect of all of Scotland’s fossil energy?!
On most days she doesn't know what say it is.
Mrs sloganbot..the tories told us North Sea was running out in 2014. All licences are westminister's powers.
Not all of it, only the wells that they redrew the maritime border for, so they could steal the income from them.
Fossil fuel is not the answer.
Not to the immediate energy (consumer price increase) crisis and not to medium or long term energy use or environmental stability.
She doesn't know very much at all
She's no poker face has she she permanently looks like a teenage girl being told off for staying out to late. I thought boris was bad for dodging questions but liz gets stuck on repeat.
Boris dodged questions. Liz stands still and gets hit in the face with them.
Dizzy lizzy is also braindead.
She immediately frowns and screws up her forehead at every question.
She is an old looking teenager lol 😆
@@barbara-annperry5941 yes she was a very odd looking teenager.
Just answered every question with an answer relating to the energy grant even though it had nothing to do with the question. A very desperate Prime Minister!
Blah blah energy bills every answer. It may even overtake Johnsons blah blah vaccines in magnitude of evasion.
She’s doing a Boris, every question answered “I got the vaccine rollout in record time” pathetic bunch of narcissists
It's even a watered-down labour policy. She harps on about it like she's suggested something amazing. 🤦♀️
@@joisagirlsname and not even her policy. It's from Boris' administration before they fired him. It might help the conservative party but why she uses it to save herself I have no idea
@@DGlesterHadunkichud because she's got nothing else even passable in her budget (not that this was even relevant, she announced it BEFORE her budget came out). She's not got the faintest understanding of economics and growth. Cutting taxes only creates growth short term in a population that has a working and middle class with already a decent amount of excess (discretionary) funds. They ARE the market. If no one can afford anything but the basics, no business can survive, it's that simple. A handful of wealthy buyers aren't a market.
Edit: for clarity
Every day we see the disaster that happens when someone seeks a job not for its duties & responsibilities, but for its title.
Yup
Competence out the window.
No Stephania, this is a breakdown of the Tory party. They did not properly vet Lizz Truss or Boris Johnson and they know it. Both should never have been Prime Minister of the UK.
+1 Not EVERY day since the beginning of time, but certainly since 2018. 😭
That seems to be a common trait in most people in most management and positions of authority. Authority even more so.
Psychopathic narcissists don't take responsibility for anything they do, in her mind she's winning the game.
Correct.
Just take heart that behind closed doors she is climbing the walls of her own mind and moving closer to doing something that will expose her growing psychotic illness. The Irony is they all try to climb to a position above everyone else but its a position they are ill equipped to occupy, when remaining in the background would afford their inner damaged child more security.
There is only so long before a psychotic episode bursts forth and cannot be hidden from everyone.
Then the fun really starts.
@@ljt3084 we'll probably all be paying for that too then eh. Grim times ahead
She really is a one trick pony. She was asked about mortgages and yet again she fell back on energy costs.
She's just a sixth former
So she’s cut energy costs but about 200 a month (Which we’ll have to payback through taxes at some point), but her actions have increased mortgage payments by 400 odd and she still thinks it’s a job well done 😂😂
the ony thing she can point to is the energy price protection scheme, completely ignoring over and over again that the impact of all her other "pro-growth" fiscal policy announcments has probably wiped out most of that saving for a large majority of people
all*
Who is going to pay for her energy cap we are the tax payers.
The energy price cap is not a saving, it has allowed household energy costs to more than double in 6 months. The reason that energy prices are rising so quickly is because of 12 years of failure to invest in energy supply and storage. Prices were rising at the end of 2021, don’t be distracted by them blaming the war in Ukraine, it just accentuated the problem.
@@Jimmie16 our kids kids.... tax the parasites

I have had to move back in with my parents (at the age of 46) because I literally could no longer afford the astronomical rent rise brought in by landlord (even though I explained my situation) it fell on deaf ears (my rent was previously £525 a month for a single bedroom flat, that rose to £730). So I cut my losses and left. Not happy about living back with my parents, but it was either that or being literally homeless. I truly hate this government with every ounce of my being. Tories out!!

There is definitely something wrong with this woman's head
Yes, the PMs brain is missing !! lol
Ian totally nailed her, she is so out of her depth. Look at the tired faces of the Tories who know they will be losing their seats and there is nothing that they can do about it.

Yes!😸
Just pull the string on her Barbie doll back and she repeats the same phrases.
😂😂😂
How as it got to this, Liz and Kwasi running the country, you couldn’t write it. I’m sure Jeremy Beadle is going to pop out in a minute
What worried me was when she was asked if she'd cut public spending. She said no, but she also seemed to imply that the energy help that she is so proud of is part of that public spending (and so she can cut the rest of public spending by an equivalent amount whilst still claiming to not have cut public spending).
Of course she wants to cut public services. She is not a member of the public
Wes, it is very clear that the Tories did not properly vet her. They didn't ask her hard question it's not Lizz Truss that it he problem it the Conservative Party that the problem.
Surely that means she's openly lied to parliament which means she in for a word of hurt.
Public spending needs to be cut. It's a joke how much money is wasted in the Public sector... including the NHS
@@insomniacbritgaming1632 That’s certainly an opinion. (Another opinion is that it would be nice if the NHS and schools were properly funded, but obviously you can choose your own opinion).
Total denial of reality
Tories out, ship them off to Rwanda
Refusing to answer a question again and again is ultimately very dangerous for democracy. It also insults my, and everybody's intelligence. How stupid does she think people are not to see this?
"Many families are worried about not just heating their homes, but _keeping_ their homes..."
This is a very, very good point that Liz Truss appears to be ignoring. She comes back at it by going on about the Government's response to energy bills, which in itself isn't even a minimum.
Well said by Blackford. I bet Starmer wishes he had come out with that quote.
Money for Cornwall! Shouldn't have voted to quit the EU, then.
Absolutely right.
"They're not facing gargantuan energy bills."
First of all, they still are, but they now also face gargantuan mortgage bills too. 🤦🏻
I felt Teresa May was better than Liz Truss.
The Tories are dying. But do they have to take the bleeding country down with them.
The Tories gave us back our own money to ensure we pay the energy companies' extortionate bills.
They should instead stop them price gouging us. But they won't because Truss is in their pocket.
They seem to be so short sighted! They could’ve used our money to nationalise energy instead and run it as a service not as a for-profit business.
Imagine the growth if the country had affordable energy, public transport, housing and decent wages.
All this stuff is just a hinderance to us as a nation.
Scotland already plays more than its part in energy provision in the UK.
What is this obsession with wanting nuclear power generation in Scotland? Anyone would think there is some sort of ulterior, financial motive at work…
Wonder who’s pocket she is in…?!
Great points, and I'm really hoping that Scotland isn't fooled this time around. This is what came of being supposedly "better together" - surely anybody who voted that way must feel at least quite a bit short changed?
Increase north sea gas production will take years to put into production, same with nuclear. Wind farms are no panacea nothing is. But they could be up and running before the end of the year providing energy now, not in 5 years to the international market.
Dizzy Lizzy needs to blow her nose again
My wife is a primary school teacher. If the PM had capped energy bills at 2.5k (which she technically hasn’t, but just for the sake of her argument) when they could have been 6k, yet mortgage prices have risen by 4.5k, then if you take the k away (sorry Gove) even my wife’s kids would be able to tell her that she’s got her numbers wrong!
At first all of this was amusing, now it’s just downright terrifying.
Good news folks - your average fuel bill this winter has only doubled (alongside ballooning food prices).
The bad news - you're going to lose your home and might not receive your pension.
Liz Truss logic.
Constantly dodging the questions, always falling back on her immoral energy plan, a plan which we, not the profiteering energy companies, will still be forced to pay for in the long run.

Bullshit fuel is double since last year

Penny Mordaunt would have been destroyed by Keit Starmer.
She actually makes Boris Johnson look like a high statesman
How does anyone with any sense not see the tories for what they are?
Nuclear power stations and gas exploration are not whipped up with Lego kit! It takes years, but she obviously doesn't know that.
Truss, like Johnson and all tories will never take responsibility for all the damage, incompetence, lack of vision etc. We need a general election now.
Unfortunately that would give them an 'out' and let them disappear into the sunset with a massive pay-off, on the other hand they'll just keep doing irreparable damage to the economy until they get pushed out, a catch 22 I believe.
.......and elect Saint IKEA Starmer who is confused about what a woman is?.
Can anyone help me? I'm wondering if the government has helped people with their energy costs? It's very very rarely mentioned.
Scotland provides the rest of U.K. with energy already, over and above what is uses itself . Why do they need to build Nuclear power stations , whilst Tories are literally banning renewables in England , which take a fraction of time to get energy online, compared to building nuclear.
BRITAIN GIVES SCOTLAND BILLIONS A YEAR LMFAO
Because they dont care about Scottish lives in any potential accident.
Per kw/h, nuclear power is by far the best source of electricity. It also has constant output, and requires the least amount of space
Renewable energy is also very intermittent, and requires a lot of space to get the same amount of energy.
Small, modular reactors are the way to go when considering the cost / benefit ratio
@Mike Sell
Even offshore wind comes in at a lower price point than new nuclear. Large scale nuclear would be operated at a profit to subsidize France. It requires a huge amount of fresh water to run. A resource we cannot guarantee. It also takes about 10 years all in to build and bring online.
I'm not anti-nuclear. It just doesn't make sense for the UK.
@@johnbinnie5697 problem being when the wind doesn't blow and sun doesn't shine we don't have energy we still need a steady stream of energy...

What does she need support from the SNP Gov for increased Oil&Gas extraction in the North Sea for? The UK Gov hands out the licenses for increased exploration and extraction. Same old Tories, everyone else is to blame but them
Gaslighting with heating homes but misses the point that there won’t be homes for a lot of people.
What do you suggest?, keep interest rates low and get to the point where a one bedroom flat is on the market for £1 million.
@@dragonfly6908 what I suggest is that someone takes charge of the finance so the markets don’t stay glittery and that the Bank of England doesn’t have to through good morning for bad decisions. I am British and live in Belgium. Yesterday the government announced that the banks can not increase the mortgage’s for existing customers and that the banks will have to pay a higher rate of tax to help as they were helped during the bank crisis. Windfall tax until the next April which by the the way the energy companies have agreed too. The energy social tariff has been extended until end of next year. Ban on landlords unnecessarily increasing rent but the rental contracts here are not like in the UK. The solution is simple, get more capable people into the position’s. I wouldn’t ring a plumber to fix my roof now would I.

Truss has aged 50 years in 5 weeks, with a bit of luck the only person having to put up with her in 5 weeks time is her dementia carer. Dementia will be the only hiding place for Truss to justify the remainder of her guilts that the Bank of England couldn't sell off. May called the tories the "nasty" party, they barely stopped at the station in order to reach their destination . . . they are beyond just a 'nasty' party.
Just a thought but where are they going to find all the tradesmen required to carry out all this building work ?

Forced labour camps.
£400 is only 1 months fuel fuel bills
We are doomed!
Oh my days - she's only got the dodge about the fuel bills, every question was answered the same way... What a mess...
Truss has been playing a PM in her head since she was a teenager. Unfortunately, she never bothered to learn what it meant to be a good PM
Absolutely
Why would a country with a surplus of renewable energy want to build more nuclear power stations?
How is she allowed to get away with answering every question with the same sentence about energy bills , when the question isn’t even about energy bills 🤦🏻♂️ why is the speaker of the house not stepping in and demanding she actually answers the questions that are being asked . It’s infuriating to watch it , it’s farcical
This woman loves to point at people! Surprised no one has called her out on it.
Two of the top politicians in the UK... One has one answer for all questions " We are helping people with their heating" irrespective of the question. The other simply cannot count, he is either hellbent on destroying the UK or has his hand in everyone's pocket.
She's smiling while Ian tells her how workers will have to pay.
"Our economy is doing badly and interest rates are sky-rocketing" "Yes, unfortunately that is a global problem. (In a couple of years time) "Our economy has improved a bit" "Yes, this government is made up of geniuses".
What's the point of heating a home you've lost because you can't afford your rent or mortgage?
She's shameless! what are you going to do? cry? had she any shame or self respect, she would have resigned by now!
It’s just a complete farce at this point. The only she think a GE is a bad idea is so she can delay being labelled as the PM that destroyed the Tories.
She has gone mad.

She is delusional.

The Cornish MP might promote a return to her region's traditional smuggling and piracy. Tory Brexit makes for a perfect opportunity to do so.
Let us hope that the lanterns tied onto donkeys' tails on top of the cliffs will not lure onto the rocks another Torrey Canyon. The investment zone referred to by the PM is, in effect, a smuggling zone free from the attentions of the revenue officers.
