  • THERESA May will today urge MPs to "hold our nerve" over Brexit talks as she pleads with them for more time to get a new deal sealed.
Ahead of another crunch set of crucial Commons debates on Thursday, the PM will beg her own MPs to give her more time to get an agreement that can be passed in the Commons.
She will tell them that talks are at a "crucial stage" but only by standing firm will we get the changes needed to get Brexit done on time - by March 29.
But some MPs think she's deliberately running down the clock to try and force them into backing her deal at the last moment.
The PM is still looking at how to replace the hated Northern Irish backstop with a new plan or to get the EU to agree it needs to be time limited and not trapping the UK in it forever...

I agree, its crazy, but you can't just call accusations, or the house turns into name calling and slanderous. You have to "play the game" Refer to previous statements made on record. Recount them, then recount subsequent statements that contradict. Then ask for clarification which is accurate as there is doubt. They can't argue, you're using their words, just asking which of two conflicting statements is true. Remark that in future such statements are remembered and prevent further "misunderstandings."
PM questions are meant for just this. Not "can my rt hr friend congratulate"
"We are going to strengthen the vital public services by providing additional funding"
"We are reducing the number of police forces and making cuts"
Two contrary statements. Get clarification, the first was indeed made, the second contradicts. Both were asserted which is the position? Now it is on record, going forward. They either have to omit the Police as a vital public service or admit they... Made a mistake or it was a bad choice of words" all make them seem weak. Usually at this the person deflects by accusing the opposition bench. Then you've made your point, you sit down and let a PR team scutter about.

Like how when Thatcher didn't like EU preventing her mistreating most British people. Such as EU saying workers have enough breaks and genetically modified ingredients should be labelled, the secret service whistle blower David Shayler told how she was going along with USA funding Al Qaeda against Gaddafi. A country people didn't pay household bills, while more old British people were dying of cold than before Tories sole and sold off public owned energy. While rest of north Europe work for jobs, peace, health and free or cheap university education

Why haven't any media pointed out actual facts? Such as how all the anti EU politicians are liars and desperate second chancers. Is only point in media to dumb down society promoting talentless celebs, or are they purposely trying to hide facts?
Such as Michael Gove who told Guardian Education that Labour were liars for saying Tories would get rid of EMA if they won election, and then Tories did take away EMA. USA born Boris Johnson whose family changed their name to Johnson from the Turkish relative name, so they sound more British. Boris regularly talks nonsense blaming others for what Tories cause. Yet media don't even notice.
Nigel Lawson who helped closely link British economy with USA in 80s based on not much more than banking, encouraging greed and relying on many being in debt. Then when economy crashed by early 90s, Tories used as excuse to make life more difficult for those who made the most of life in communities destroyed by Tories when they made millions unemployed and then blamed them for being unemployed. Such as after council houses were sold off without using money to build more, so many had to private rent at more expense, they made 18 yr old in bedsit pay same poll tax as lord in a manor, first government to add tax to household bills, making our public services worst in Europe, VAT increases, while they gave the rich tax cuts.
Nigel Lawson was recently advising we leave the EU while he applies to live in France

    • @SuzLa1
      @SuzLa1 Před 5 lety +16

Nigel Farage who was paying his foreign wife on tax payers expenses and hiding money in tax havens always planned on resigning if we voted to leave, to leave us out the EU with Tories in power, who only work in interests of upper classes, bankers and their corporate donors.
Why haven't any journalists pointed out that EU has helped protect us against Tories? Such as Tories wish we had food labelling like the USA. EU has helped prevent our food containing ingredients allowed in USA, such as mineral oil. If you look at USA section in supermarket, EU compliant labels over original state a lot more, such as if food is genetically modified.
Anti EU politicians just want to leave so they can mistreat British people. Such as not having EU saying workers should have enough breaks. Not that we will have many jobs if we leave anyway, but that won't be a problem for Tories, as they will get the Bullingdon Club wannabe lackeys like Iain Duncan Smith, another anti EU politician, to make the unemployed suffer more on useless work programmes run by relatives of Tories

They don't even know what or where Europe is. Or they start going on about asylum seekers, not realising it's UN who deal with asylum. If we leave the EU, which works for peace, education and health, we will have more asylum seekers, as it's going along with the USA that cause asylum seekers. Islamic extremism hardly existed before USA were arming and training them in Afghanistan against Russia. Then USA didn't care what was going on in Afghanistan after, such as making women walk around in tents

You must withdraw it!"? That makes absolutely no sense. That stupid rule is specifically designed by liars to protect liars from being accused of lying. It needs to go.
