CC is right about the DEPTH of talent in the WNBA. I think if USA had to field two full Olympic teams it could easily be done. The All Stars Team sure proved they have has much talent as USA team. Scoring 117 points against some of the best defensive players in the WNBA was IMPRESSIVE!
While I was watching Caitlin chewing her nails during an interview I cracked up . The reason is because when I was a kid I played point guard too and a picture was taken of me chewing my nails while resting on the bench during the game.

Take a rest and then start working on getting your shooting back. Try to shoot from the corner or near the 3 pt line; those are higher percentage 3 pt shots. Kelsey did not appeal to me much at the start of the season and I think I'm realizing how much stress and pressure was on the Fever team members to figure out and navigate the arrival of Caitlin. All the garbage and physical encounters (Carter, Reese, etc) made it even more difficult. But I am going out on a limb and guessing that Mitchell may be having one of the best seasons of those she has been in the W for and I am happy and rooting for her. It slowly evolved as Caitlin adapted to her role and now Kelsey seems loose, happy and is scoring more than ever when I'd bet she was concerned at the start of the season about how many shots there were going to be on the floor, Maybe this will all turn out great for "the good people" and those who were making all the trouble seem to be paying for their transgressions over the past months. I'm not sure where Sides lands on that. It seems like she is miserable by her demeanor and attitude towards this happy team and I think she needs to go.
I've always liked Mitchell, me being a new W fan this year. Some fans complain she is a ball hog but really she is not a passer like Caitlin, the off guard usually shoots. Her energy and speed are exceptional and she can get on a nice roll hitting shots. She's definitely a keeper and after wondering where she was in the early part of this game I'm happy she got to see the court more and play very well. That bomb at the end of the 3rd was awesome; so happy for her.

Arike Ogunbowale was the difference between the two sides, as she was before last Olympics. All other players benefitted from her play. You put her in USA, they win, but she withdrew from selection. "GO FIGURE"
she withdrew because of how they treated Clark and how both were snubbed from team USA, Arike isn't racist or hateful and is probably one of the best supporters of Clark(which is why she got snubbed from the Olympic team and left as a second option) and after this game I can see them both playing together in the future.
Finally. It’s good to see these players coming together. About time. Players don’t need to knock someone down to lift themselves up. Your all talented players and working together lifts you all up.

Caitlin didn't get snubbed by being omitted from the Olympic team. She didn't "deserve" to be on the team. However, Caitlin NEEDED to be on that team for the W(WE)NBA's sake. Caitlin didn't need to be on the Olympic team but the Olympic needed Caitlin and the eyeballs that she would've brought to the team.
Caitlin had a bad shooting night but was still the catalyst in the win because of the coverage she drew and her assists.
I hope the women’s Olympic does not get the gold medal because of Cheryl Reeve. Reeve is too petty and immature.

The women's Olympic team has won 7 gold medals in a row and I could "give 2 shits" about that. How about 1 shit? Nope, not even 1 shit about the 7 straight gold medals. I've watched women's soccer in the Olympics and nothing else on the women's side in the past. I would've been glued to the TV and also taped the games if Caitlin was on the Olympic team.

Those women were not playing hard. It was an All-Star game which is for the fans not the players. These women has to represent the USA in a couple of weeks, so women it make sense for them to run the risk of getting hurt and miss their Olympic experience? Come on people use your common sense. It’s USA vs USA players in the All-Star Game so it’s supposed to be a little competitive, but not to the point where they’re going to play all out to the point where they can possibly get hurt.
I think it is a travesty that when there are so many talented ballers yet the Olympic 'choosers' chose players who have previously had the privilege of winning an Olympic medal, some of them numerous god medals. It should be a sin not to let others have the same opportunity.

WNBA lost the chance at growing by leaving Arike off the team... and even more so by not combining Caitlin and Angel to show chemistry and unity in the women's NBA association. The team was picked to support washed up good WNBA players with the money the USA pays their athletes for achieving a gold medal in the Olympics. They didn't field the best team or the best team to grow the sport... bout and old boys (girls) club supporting each other for money even though not deserved.

Sounds like you have issues. It is an All Star game. Many of the good players did not score high tonight. Caitlin had pts, steals and blks. Her assists is what had an impact on the game.
