Concerning Women's Olympic Basketball, it looks like we will give the rest of the world a chance. We are sending them our B-team.
Why? You know that during the preparatory games for an important event it is not uncommon for a champion team to lose. 4 years ago team USA lost to a college team, and then at the Olympics they defeated everyone in a big way. In this game the two teams had different goals: All Stars win the game, Team USA try game tactics

Makes sense why Angel Reese and C.Clarke are making waves. They actually put effort into the game. Nobody going for a rebound after it clearly bricks off the back and the players are running back on defense instead of claiming the boards. Main takeaway from this game should be that the Men’s Basketball All-Star game is a travesty and an insult to viewers of competitive sports. There never will be unanimity on what players should be selected to play for the country’s team, so I won’t comment on that literally never-ending debate.
