Did you test the push notifications. I bought one of these (the wired model) and to be frank push notifications don’t work. The one time I got a notification it came 9 HOURS after we burned some burgers. Worse was that when it happened the sensors exposed in HomeKit did NOT show triggered either so the “smart” features have been useless
Amazon link in your video description is broken. Can you list the model # reviewed? Lowe's has one listed 1039102. It seems like this model is very hard to find with Amazon not directly offering it anymore, and very few other retailers offering it that I can find.
Nice video! I have been wanting to add a HomeKit smoke detector to my setup as well, but I’m very cautious because this is one thing that needs to be 99% reliable. Have you seen the reviews on First Alert’s HomeKit smoke detectors on Amazon? After reading several bad reviews, I was deterred from buying one. It seems like they may have ironed out issues though over the years
I will be honest, I’ve set this off twice using just some lit paper near it. I was actually trying to get the thumbnail shot and accidentally set it off and the whole house went nuts. I feel like this is super effective for sure.

Did they fix the app so you get push notifications or is that still broke?
We got them in our initial testing, but we had a false alarm the other day and didn't get a push notification 🤷♂️

Did it actually sned you the push notification that an alarm was going off?
It did, during the filming, but I didn't get one the other day for a false alarm that happened.
Do you have any issues with the push notifications? The only other videos on this said they had push notification issues, not coming in.
