Tips for growing avocado from pit in soil

Here's a few tips for growing avocado from pit in soil.

Unfortunately, a squirrel ended up removing a few sticks, dug up the avocado sprout and ripped it from the pit. 😩 Like I said, the stick thing works most of the time, but not all the time!

I use bamboo skewers in planters to deter squirrels.
