Y creo que no es del todo correcto decir “haga una equis”, puesto que le están pidiendo un check mark ✔️ no una equis. Los Colombianos le decimos a ése check mark “un chulo”. Entonces sería más preciso solamente decir “marque la casilla correspondiente”. Si las instrucciones dicen que haga una equis, como dicen los formularios de inmigración por ejémplo, entonces ahí si cabe decir “marque con una equis”. Para terminar quería dar las gracias, inmensas, por ésta clase tan buena y práctica!!!

all my glossaries/dictionaries give me “experimentar” for having experienced something and it drives me nuts. I like his words better and have never heard someone say something like, “he estado experimentando muchos dolores de cabeza.”
'experimentar' isn't uncommon nowadays, in fact, the medical field has adopted this verb as a way to refer to a new feeling or sensation compared to the global use of 'sentir' which may indicate an already experienced feeling or sensation. The use of 'experimentar' isn't incorrect at all.

This is more for people who do not speak Spanish correctly. I am the opposite case. English is my second language so I may have problems in English but not in Spanish. Also the colloquialism lesson did not resonate to me, I live in Central America, and we do not use any of that slang. We use different ones even though I understand some of the words. That's tough, I mean to take one region slang as the official one. There is no such a thing.
You do not learn how to interpert for one particular region only. Interpreters learn how to use idioms in LOTE and English of all diferent backgrounds..we have to be able to understand australian, bristish. american and canadian slang...but also latinoamercan, caribean, spanish idiomatic. Nothing is 100% official in linguistics....everything is on the move all the time...just be open minded and keep practicing, professional development, reading, researching....This teacher is fantastic!!! I have be trained in Australia and England....and he is still my favourite....
can I apply to translate remotely as Medical Sight Translator , soon my Online Translation Business Service will be up and running, Spanish is my Second language and 37 years at it also I am improving my French and Italian language skills. Gracias en adelante.
Don't you think that the repetition of words in the same sentence falls into an incorrect grammar? At least that's what I learned, I might be wrong since everything changes. Thank you.
